Good vid, Bud. I'm no pro, but one of the best tips I was given was DON'T ADS when the target is closer than 25m. Hip-fire in Vigor is really accurate. ADS is slow and if you are using the aim assist feature the sweats will eat you alive in close quarters with just a wiggle and you'll lose to every dropshot.
Thank you for the compliment, I really appreciate you watching. And thank you so much for sharing the ADS tip as well with the community. It’s excellent advice!! I planned on making an advanced tips video in the future with both those included. I didn’t realize it went 25m out either, I had always heard 10-15, so you taught me something new! Appreciate your assistance, I’ll test and definitely give you a shoutout in video once I verify. Stay safe out there outlander! 🍻
I’m new to this game and come from a call of duty and fortnite background and my aim just feels so awful and it’s frustrating because I have incredible positioning and awareness but I can’t land a shot on this game to save my life and i don’t understand how to fix this. I’ve tried multiple sensitivity’s. Any advice helps for you experienced players.
Biggest tip is the better the gun the less likely the bloom is to affect landing shots. Vigor is tough in that sense, as the game isn’t designed to be fair. Its designed to be rewarding. I had the same issues when I started , came from cod like yourself. In cod I always got smoked up close so I would try to reposition the fight to med distance if I could. But in Vigor in the beginning I would get destroyed so I actually practiced closing the gap, which seems to work for me in this game. Lastly I found using the range to be helpful. A good portion of the guns at medium range that I use it feels more accurate if I am not on center when I fire 3PP. So try raising center crosshairs slightly up and right. Not much, just about 7-10%. It will feel slightly off at first but you will noticeably get more instant headshots. At least for me I did. Let me know if this helped at all and stay safe out there outlander!
Up close, all bets are off so you could try a jump shot for a laugh. I have yet to get a scope kill with ADS, just the regular no scope guns. I'd much rather face off with a hunting rifle than the auto pistol. And that's before I try these settings
Definitely does. You can can actually move around the entirety of the shooting range as well so it’s a good way to practice at different ranges, elevations, and positions. Obviously nothing can simulate being in match but with a little practice you can confidently hit shots in different situations and distances relatively quickly. Since each gun has a unique recoil pattern based on both firing positions and distance. Thx for watching stay safe out there outlander!
Shooting range really doesn't do anything except unlock more guns for the Shooting range, so you have 1 of each type in your inventory even if you can't craft them without getting a weapon plan for the appropriate level workbench. Donating food at the shelter will give you crates so you don't have to look for random material spawns in Encounter to upgrade the shelter
Haven't played Vigor since 2020 I was there when the game first launched,it wasn't riddled with cheaters back then,I always been a master at pvp/looter shooters and survival games,I stumbled across this video and decided to try it over my old settings,I've been pissing alotve people off in encounters. My old record in shootout was 13 my new record is 15 I'm sure I could get 20 with these settings and only been back playing for 2 days.Great vid thanks👌🏾
Damn, I don't understand how you can play with the sensitivity down so far. I came from Call of Duty/Warzone and I played on 15/15 sens. and on Vigor I play on 80 for everything.
It took awhile to get use to it believe me. I played warzone at 11-11 or 12-12 mostly myself as well so it took a couple of days honestly before it felt good. I did keep the look around x&y axis at 100 still but the low ads kept recoil to a minimum for me and my shots feel like it registered more accurately on these settings. Even the guy who is # 1 in kills on PlayStation is set at like 35/35 or 40/40. And he posts 11 kill lobby wipe games almost daily. Freakja I think is his name. Try it out and see if it makes a positive difference for you. Let us know and thank you for watching! Truly we appreciate it!
Thank you so much watching and the kind words! Truly I appreciate it and that’s awesome knowing people all over the world are watching and enjoying the content. Hearing that makes my day!! For the recoil control I raised my dead zone on the inner and lowered the dead zone on the outer for both standard movements and aiming stick movements. Then I lowered the Y and X sensitivity during ads which negated the recoil as well. For me since I don’t play as much as I would like to. This really helped me not to fat finger it which was my problem because the visual recoil made my brain overreact. Then just a lot of repetition in shooting range and live encounters. Once I got use to it being a little more blocky than how I played other pvp shooters I was able to find my rhythm in game. Using tactics in my play style more often and less worried about losing gunfights since staying on target had gotten simpler with these settings. For me at least. Hope this helps and again thank you for watching. Reach out with questions anytime and stay safe out there outlander!
Bro not even trying to be an ass here but no way am I taking your advice after seeing that first clip. I’ve only been playing for a month and I’ve never potatoed that hard. All I learned from that clip is that I need the Armor blueprint ASAP cause apparently it can save even the slowest reaction speeds
No worries man, these tips aren’t for everyone. I don’t take offense your opinion. Sure I could filter out my bad plays and try to represent like I’m a legendary killer in game. But who does that help? I’d rather be honest and show others like me, 40 yr olds who have kids talking to them or trying to get your attention while dad’s just trying to unwind and have a little pvp fun. Show them it’s ok to make mistakes and still survive, how to get a few kills and get out alive. Introduce them to some basics that the game doesn’t show you. If someone is watching that is a more accomplished player in all pvp games , such as yourself, then it probably won’t help much as a lot the topics are things you already know through your experience. And that’s ok to. I apologize that the video didn’t help but our target audience is a different caliber of player. I do however really appreciate you watching and hope you stick around to assist with any tips that may have helped you, truly! And stay safe out there outlander!
@@GamerRoundup your last comment was well said! I’ve watched more of your videos since then and have had a chance to see more of your gameplay. I guess what I was trying to say was that for the purpose of a tips video, I thought it would be better if you included some top level gameplay. I personally wouldn’t of started off with that potato clip but after seeing your other videos man there’s def some useful tips on your channel for even experienced pvp players. That potato clip was just my very first impression of the channel so I apologize. Keep it up!
Not a problem James and I appreciate saying that sir! I’m equally happy you have continued to watch even more and hopefully enjoyed the videos. No ego here , I just honestly believe in this games dynamics and hope to help others with its learning curve. Appreciate you sticking with the channel though, and stay safe out there outlander!!
Oh believe me we all had that in the beginning. It’s tough out there. What system you play on? I know some of the players in our community will team up, and Reddit has a pretty active community. There is also one on Facebook to, but honestly I feel the Reddit community is less negative and more willing to help. But that’s just my personal opinion.
I'm new too. If you have 5 extra weapons, maybe try making friends in team Elimination. Personally, I feel like Encounter is the hardest difficulty. Shootout is the core game mode with free guns and unlimited spawns until the timer runs out
I noticed that some play without weapons and wave to announce themselves. Be careful. Some of them have a partner with a weapon to shoot you. It happened to me yesterday. For the most part you should be fine. They do it for the quest. Enter with nothing leave with full back pack.
Dude i have a feeling you grew that beard while waiting on people to get out of the house😂btw i didnt played game like 1year so how come you didn't started alarm and got mortars striked for camping ? Did they changed that or removed birds when someone close by? Because that killed game for me
Ha ha it felt like it. Not traditionally my play style but for those players that have like 300 encounters or less under their belt it’s about the only way they have to remain competitive. Up until season 10 anyway. Not so much now though. Especially if you have played for a year, the guns are way more accurate in a lot ways compared to your last time. All the lmgs are meta. Little recoil if at all and bloom is same. Crows are still a thing but outside of that camping is still a thing. Much less though, at least in my experience. I think players feel more like they have a chance now in firefights because the gun play is more consistent. So tactical with positioning and angles seem to happen more organically now in encounters. You still find the occasional bush or exit camper, but not nearly as much as in years past. IMO at least.
Can’t , it’s a violation of RU-vid service agreement and tbh I do this for fun. I enjoy making videos and helping others if I can. So if my channel never blows up that’s ok, as long as I have fun and can help others then my goals are accomplished. Anything else is just added bonus.
