Vigor has finally released on PC. This is an Extraction game from the DayZ / ARMA developers. Let's play in 4K and see how it is. Leave a LIKE and a comment, thanks for watching...
They put this on PC cause it’s on its last legs on console. Game hasn’t changed in a long time. No endgame. No wipe. Can’t share items with your teammates. Just cosmetics every single season. Bundles in the game that cost almost as much as a full price game for really good weapons and consumables and sometimes even outfits that can be used as camouflage. Once you’ve upgraded your safe house, there’s nothing else worth playing for. But hey, you play what you want. Just wanted to give you a heads up of what you’re gonna spend your time on. Or money
@@doomslayerforever2858 it will be free when it releases. Just saying that some bundles give you really good stuff and really high prices and the game still has a few issues which should’ve been solved long ago
@@houseofchinn6112 Xbox yeah. Then they put on PlayStation to try and boost their numbers. It was fun for a while, but most of their updates were just pretty much cosmetics and not that many actual changes to the game
As someone with a couple hundred hours on the console version and think this is huge for this game. There were never really was any large content creators covering this game, so I hope now that it is on PC it becomes more popular. I love this game and can't wait to see how it grows in the future Love your videos Jack, my dad used to watch you during the Bf4 days and when he got me my first PlayStation I began watching your videos too. I've just recently turned 18 and still watch your videos daily. Love you Jack, keep up the great work❤️😎
I played Vigor on xbox for years, maxed out base and unlocked nearly every blueprint; the game is great fun at the best of times, but terribly stressful and broken at the worst. Also, just a tip in case you never learned what the phones are for Jack, they are placed throughout the map in various buildings and once someone initiates the call, all other phones in the game will start ringing, and if someone answers one before the ringing stops then those two people will become each others bounties basically, with a real-time ping on the map revealing one anothers positions.
@@bud_kleric2771 Agreed, I think a lot of the games features could do with a serious overhaul. Vigor has come a long way, don't get me wrong, but let's be honest here the only reason they finally released on PC after all these years is because they hope to make more money off a market that hasn't grown tired of the same old content and same old problems, or at least that's what I'd guess.
@@solowq_1817 I sincerely doubt it, unfortunately. That being said I don't actually know, so it is possible, but I wouldn't hold your breath my friend. The way I see it is Bohemia would lose out on potential money if they allowed data transfers between platforms.
You will hear crow sounds if anyone is camping the exit. The crow sounds do have a cooldown so they won’t keep happened. But it’s a good way to know to be careful if you hear them.
All the audio is great. I love the gunshots too. Theres 50+ guns in the game and I can identify exactly what someone is using and how far based on the shots.
Wow, thanks for giving me a new game to play, especially as I've been without an FPS for a little while now. Even if you don't do another video on it (would be nice) thanks for giving it a spotlight, I'm on console and had no idea it existed! :) The neat and varied weapon selection, the Nordic setting, really nice artstyle, a decently quick TTK where people aren't made out of sponges, actually being able to unlock/level and keep a fair bit of stuff, the devs not randomly wiping all my progress every so often, this checks so many boxes for me!
you did increadibly well for your first two encounters, my first few games back when it got released on console i died quite instantly. youre also getting the hang of it quite fast, great work!
I’ve put thousands of hours on the Xbox series X version. I continue to enjoy it but in their latest dev stream they said the new weapon and gunplay changes were going to be rolled out to get feedback on for only the PC early access version. I have concerns about this because while not everyone will be new a large majority of players will be and if they are the ones giving the feedback and not the console players who have the perspective of the old system compared to this rework I don’t know how well that is going to pan out.
You’re doing fine Jack. Regarding the build of the shelter I would recommend think about which upgrades are going to help you best. Just because you can upgrade a part of the shelter doesn’t mean you should do so and use up those resources when they can be used to help build something else that gives you a lot more value. When I first started playing in 2019 vs now it takes longer to get more resources thus takes longer to build the shelter.
I was partnered with the game for 4 years on Xbox since it was in early access on Xbox preview, awesome to finally see it on PC and hope it brings more players to the game to give it the much needed attention it deserves
and there was also a knife called Puukko which makes 0 sense when the game takes place in Norway. Why would you call a knife a knife in a different language rather than calling it in norwegian since its in Norway? Puukko isnt a brand of knife in Finland, its just knife in finnish 💀💀 wouldnt surprise me if there is a gun named Ase or Pyssy in the game 💀
Really surprising to see it in a game. Its not really a well known machinegun. I dont think its even in use anymore? Probably being kept in storage in case a war breaks out..
Feeling quite nostalgic watching this, I played a bit on PS4 back in the day and I can still remember my first kill, using a Silver Pigeon shotgun, in one of the most intense combat experiences I've had to this day (it was my first extraction shooter, so that whole experience was new to me). Seeing it now the UI looks really dated, but looks like the visuals and atmosphere are still very effective in that unique Bohemia way. Also, by Bohemia's standards, the building interiors are actually really detailed and hold up very well, especially if you compare it to something like Dayz or Arma. There's no way I'm paying out £20 for this, but I will almost certainly revisit once it becomes free to play, if only for the nostalgia of it all.
I think this is the game I'm thinking of but the boots and stuff in the beginning before deployment effect everyone, as a way to encourage everyone to use their boosts? I might be mistaken though. I played a bit of this on PS4 but it never really hooked me.
The telephone marks you on the map for the person who picks up the other phone that you’re calling, he’s also marked for you on your map, it’s like starting a duel
I miss when Jack does games like this please upload a few more of these episodes. I played this on console years ago and it was honestly a mess but might look into it again now 😂
Jack, you need to RU-vid the lyre bird. It’s the most insane bird you’ll see! It can mimic chainsaws and other forestry equipment and many other sounds
It would be rad if Bohemia allowed players to have a short voice chat with each other once someone else picks up on the other end of the line. I'd totally tell someone something like "I~ SMELL~~ YOU~ LOOKING~ AT~ ME~~~"
Seeing some comments reminded me of when I tried playing this. Players who max out everything just go in and play for kills. I remember watching a few different streamers to understand better and they all were playing on the same map basically having a 1v1 on some hill for hahas.
I am so stoked! We are finally getting good extraction shooters. We have abo, this, beautiful light coming late 24 or early 25 and project black budget (hopefully good no clue at this point)
A free game on console is locked on PC behind a $20 paywall to access the beta. Basically selling us a DLC that players aren't even sure they want yet. You got people that have never played Vigor and you're gonna force them to buy a DLC just to play the game before the full release. I remember a time when all gamers had to do was sign up for beta access and hope to get accepted. Not be tricked into buying a DLC just to try it out. It's wild that we now live in a time where WE PAY COMPANIES TO GIVE THEM FEEDBACK ON THEIR GAMES.
this isnt a dlc, this is literally the game bozo. How can a business pay for servers, pay steam, and pay to port this game to pc without charging atleast $20 for it. Some people don't understand business at all...
@@MrWEST1fr. All I see is negative comments. A game needs money to get better.... they wonder why console never got better. It was a free game and it's clearly better for pc. It's made by the creators of dayz.. have we not seen the night and day difference with dayz to console/pc. Completely different. Same thing here. Once this game gets modding support, or grows in community I bet this game has great success
It was the same on console when it first came as well, it was in early access so you had to pay for the founders edition to play it before it fully released, no different here no issue
Hi Jack, could you please help with the sixth message on bf1 a beginning dog tag? My morse keeps saying ATTACK AT DAWN?? I can not find the Edward symbol. Please mate 🙏
I actually enjoyed this game on console. I always thought it was for PC too. The 3rd person pov is pretty cool too because you can take advantage of it and use the camera to peek corners and whatnot.
This looks very fun. Not too hardcore just mess around. Love the large number of small maps instead of the same small number of large maps in other games
That is what it does, kinda. You call the phone and every phone on the map rings, and if another player picks up you mark each other on the map every 10 secs or so until one of you die or extracts.
Luckily on PC you can launch DayZ, get walkie talkie + battery and you can talk to people. Sure, not always, but still quite a lot of time you got to talk to people. Remember talking to somebody and agreeing to hooking up which we did! That dude even didn´t murder me and we then played for like 2 hours. In the end some other player killed him when we were looting military camp. It was on Namalks map and that map is brutal not only due to crazy harsh weather.
For what it counts , if you have arms and you don't feel bad about losing it , just go for materials , they're far and few between during hot hours , everyone is looking for crafting materials for your base
Cant belive ive never heard of this game and got 100s of hours in arma3 and dayz but definitely giving this a try and looks sooo much easier than tarkov!!!
Played this game to death on the PS4, updated my base to the max, then stopped playing it for a while, I got hooked on PUBG again on the PS5, went back to Vigor a year or two ago on the PS5 and it was pretty much dead, shame really as it was quite good fun, especially in co-op.
Get to a certain level of development on your base, a companion should show up (NPC spouse who tends the base, the garden, etc)... gives goal/incentive.
