Vihara Budhi Bhakti Temple, Batam Indonesia (大悲佛堂)
Believed to be one of the oldest Buddhist temples in Batam, Vihara Budhi Bhakti was built in the 20th Century. In vibrant red, the temple has a boat-shaped roof with interesting ornate designs and gold rims that are hard to miss even from a distance. Two mythical dragon sculptures sit atop the roof and add to the grandeur of the structure. Apart from its architecture, the temple is a popular religious destination frequented by tourists and locals.
