I know it is a mere mistake on sir's part to adress Leela Benare as "Mrs. Leela Benare" all through the explanation session, but I feel how human beings of this orthodox, patriarchal society is subconsciously gripped into the fundamental, stereotypical social norms that while explaining the whole idea about independence of a woman and opposing to the hypocrisy of the patriarchal society, and talking about sensitive issues like pregnancy resulting from an illicit relationship, while a woman is unmarried, and the harassment she faces for that,The address to " Miss " Benare, automatically transcends to "Mrs" as we all tend to assume in our subconscious minds, though we say the opposite that a married woman should only be given the permission to conceive, even though she lives her life on her own terms and is capable of taking care of the child alone. It's not a mere mistake in the case of this play atleast to address MISS LEELA BENARE AS MRS, LEELA BENARE, according to my opinion. No hard feelings. This helped me alot though to get the gist in my head. Thank you
It's very unfortunate that you only kept reading the material instead of trying to elaborate it. Moreover the material is also of poor quality and I simply couldn't understand why you kept on addressing Miss Benare as Mrs Benare!
He should have taken help of some person with Marathi language knowledge.. He pronounced almost all Marathi words and names pathetically.. Names of plays are.. शांतता! कोर्ट चालू आहे ( silence! Court is working ) गिढाडे ( vultures) सखाराम बाइंडर. कमला घाशीराम कोतवाल
