Could you tell me if you had any problems with service/booking/ flights from Viking? I wanted to travel Amsterdam to Budapest about October this year but I've read some horrendous reviews about Viking. "The same meals being served night after night , the upper deck closed off the entire cruise, limited alcohol as supplies were low. Looks like you had a nice trip. Cheers.
We didn't have any problems with service/booking/flights. We did pay for Viking air and told them what flights we wanted on Delta. As for "same meals being served night after night" ... the left side of the menu is always the same. The right side of the menu is always different. We're not big drinkers; I'm not aware of any alcohol shortages. The upper deck was closed for part of the trip as a safety measure, due to high water levels (therefore, low bridges).
