Honestly it was a real cheap one. Think it was an Aldi or Lidl special to be honest. Seems to do the job. Didn't see the point spending a bunch on it as it's my first try and I don't do it that often.

i thoug that... you cant get the handle out this way, bc there is a wedge. This is not a restoration, this is a transformation. I think you damaged the iron by burning it like that till the handle flood. i think this is too heavy to be a war axe. Idk why an axe has to be called a viking axe. And few more.

@@Rcknives ohh thanks mate. That probably increases its value to be fair. Wilko stuff is now retro and unobtainable ergo valuable. R.I.P Wilko... We will never forget.
