The embroidery unit is included when you purchase the machine. It is a sewing machine and an embroidery machine. It is my favorite machine!

Hi! Great question. It is an updated version of it including the laser guide and the ribbon embroidery attachment and the programable petal on it along with some new stitches and the built in walking foot.

My Epic 2 is new. I’ve used it a couple of times to sew a few quilt blocks together. Now the touch screen will not come on. The light comes on when the on switch is on. But the screen will not turn on. All functions of this new machine are disabled. Already needs repair. What an expensive disappointment.

Oh no! I’v never heard of this happening. I use mine for hours everyday & I’v never had a problem.
