February 2022. The 386-guest Viking Mississippi® was “floated out” in Louisiana, marking a major construction milestone and the first time the ship has touched water. Set to debut in summer 2022, the Viking Mississippi will sail Viking’s highly anticipated voyages on the Lower and Upper Mississippi River, between New Orleans and St. Paul.

I live in Hannibal so I have the Mississippi River going through and I'm at the captain of the strip and I got a tour even when where they drive it

Worked on the Delta Queen 40 years ago. Tempted to apply for a job on this one. The DQ was 6 weeks on, 2 weeks off. Wonder what the schedule will be like on the VM?

Barges go all the way up to Minneapolis this ship is built like a barge because of that exact reason

The amount of waste and environmental damage Viking does made me decide their cruises are not for me. Then, the way the treat and pay their staff, no thanks
