Us Vikes fans have earned the right to throw all the shade at Kirko Chains we want. I don't want the man to fail in Atlanta, but it seems like he is destined to spin his wheels while making bank and not taking his teams anywhere.
Someone said that he was in shotgun for the majority of the snaps when usually he under center maybe his achilles isn’t fully healed or they don’t trust him on the step backs. But yeah idk why he’d leave the Vikings with the team we built around him it was his best chance at a playoff run.
Wonder when ATL will realize that his heel hasn't healed 100% ,and there back up QB is better than him,? His career maybe over same with Rodgers too. That injury could be the Achilles heel of older QBs to recover from ? Planting foot kinda important for QB
Let’s SKOL Randy!! We made the Giants look as ridiculous as they dressed. I will say I typically base the season on the first snap of the year for each side of the ball. The fact they didn’t get a big play off on our D first play is such a good feeling. And our D actually looking like they have strength to fight back against the line and have instances to surprise and confuse the opposing offense is so encouraging. We have rising stars with Turner and Van Ginkle and the leadership from real pro bowl talent Harrison Smith and (PFWA) Ivan Pace Jr. to lead this young team. I was nervous about our D-line but hey, we held up alright. Our offense was so so exciting to watch. Again, shades of Kirk seemed to linger a little in the very beginning but Darnold showed he knew how to shake things off like a man and lean into the adversity as a code of honor to overcome. He gathered himself to lead that 99 yd drive, played a phenomenal game 28-42 (60.9% completion ) 2 Tuddys and only 1 int that wasn’t 100% his fault let’s be honest. Our run game was shocking and devastating to the opposing D. The fight Aaron Jones has to find his way through a pile and still come out to gain 4 yards, I hadn’t see that since Cook was still cooking. And our Passing game was phenomenal too. Only wish we gave Jefferson more looks but I believe with spreading the ball out to multiple people and putting an emphasis on our run game that can actually run, this Vikings is positioned to shock the world. I’m not ready to crown them yet, let’s be honest about the Giants here, they are a team looking for their footing, but we were able to hold Dexter to one sack I believe and read/take advantage of the gameplan of the Giants and stepped on their throats. Winning by 3 touchdowns makes me feel this unfamiliar feeling of a fulfillment of the hope I have been having for years. In retrospect I saw a team win yesterday, only wish to see more Jefferson over the top and deception in the pass game. But to see Darnold overcome the first drive and actually ROLLOUT AND TAKE RISKS, that’s what I’ve been waiting for. Stifling D and a deceptive evolved risk taking offense. This roster is on fire. Ps, I am wondering Turner’s facial reaction when given a game ball…. What that was all about. He seemed upset. Anyway. 🥁 🥁 🗣️ SKOOOOOOOL VIKINGS 🫡 1-0 baby
And the giants is supposed to have an amazing d line and we have a meh oline so seeing them step up was great. It felt like our first complete game in years. Our defense held it down our offensive did what they had to do and special teams was good. It’s just week one but I hope they continue to improve and by week 6-7 we know. Our next games are way better and I hope that it wasn’t just the giants being the giants.
Wasn’t it nice to not hate a single bit of the gameplay? Run game: solid. Pass game and pass blocking: good enough-pretty good. Kicking: perfect. Defense: phenomenal.
Aaron Jones already has more rushing tds than Mattison had all last season lol. Daniel Jones is ass, thank you. He can thank Donatell for his contract.
People throwing shade at Kirk should watch the game, not the box score. Both of his interceptions were from him getting hit as he threw, just like Darnold's interception. Kirk was getting pressured and hit and sacked more than he did in Minnesota.
In the Steelers vs. Falcons game during the 4th qtr. with a little over 4 minutes to go a stat came on the screen showing Cousins 2nd half stats and it was at that point 2 for 5 for 11 yds ! Also, his first half QB rating was 33😂, it just goes to show that it was the Vikings,JJ and KOC making Cousins look good and not the other way around.
You flexing about adding another expensive ass WR????? You ought to lose your hype man card with that one. You’re not even a fan of the team. Only a fan of particular players would be talking about adding another expensive ass WR. #Fraud
Hams fumble was just a teaser. Then they started to play seriously. And for me the 4th and 8 interception of Harry the Hitman was a clear highlight, as it cancelled out the 4th and 8th two years ago. For the Vikings - if Kirk was still here, he would have screwed that up, even without being on the field.
