Shawns suggestion to make the spikes of the Zamperla Disco into the points of a viking long boat is such a brilliant idea, and it wouldn't be too expensive to build, even a simple wooden structure in that shape would look great, I would love to see it.

This area does look great and its amazing to see how far the park has come along in the past few years! I hope we see a new large family themed coaster for next year to keep things on the up!

Good selection of family rides, but being a thrillseeker, I wish there was more thrill rides at Drayton Manor.

I was gutted to hear that they were getting rid of the drop tower apocalypse. However after visiting over the weekend. The Viking area looks fantastic. And I'm looking forward to seeing what they do with the area around apocalypse

This looks pretty incredible, I need to get to Drayton at some point. A phase 2 with a small gravity group woodie or even a small-scale/family RMC would be amazing, though maybe I’m getting my hopes up. You never know though…

Shawn, I am still a rider and I am 67 years old and in good health. They never had rides like this when I was young. I love watching you give us a tour of what is available to ride. Also, the rides from Europe are so much better than what we have in the states. More variety and good music. Cheers!

I went to drayton manor on Friday, and I was so pleased I got to experience the new area before it was meant to open. Great video as always!

The first part of the queue line for jormungandr is quite wide i think they should add a fence through the middle of that and have it as a extended queue line. The entrance sign is in the main area then you have to walk to to the queue line. So i think if they could make the wide pathway into and extended queue with some more fencing would finish if of nicely.

Wow I can't wait to visit it's my local park and so glad they are investing and growing the park so it makes me think WHATS NEXT lol maybe a coaster time will tell 👍

What a great area. This is my favourite area of the park and Thor and Loki are my favourite rides at the park. The soundtrack to this area is great too.

Merlin, the 2nd biggest entertainment company after Disney, should be embarrassed looking at this new themed area. New, well themed flat rides. Come on Alton Towers get back in the game!

i feel like a Gravity Group Family Wooden Coaster would’ve worked so well for this park and in this area, my guess it could’ve gone where ‘Sleipnir’ is, or maybe even they can add one in a future expansion in the old High Ropes Course area

Here's me hoping for phase 2 of vikings to have a new rollercoaster 🤞🤞🤞 A new gen vekoma like fønix or lech coaster would fit so well in that area.

I love the fact that the Park has continued to introduce more Seating areas, adjacent to some of the rides. It becomes so much much more inclusive, if you're a non-rider, and, want to be part of the action. Haven't been for a long time, however, following your Vlog, intend to return. Cheers Shaun! 👍

Love the fact they named theyr attractions after norse mythology Loki- god of mischief Thor-god of thunder Sleipnir-the eight legged horse that odin rides on Jormangundr- the world serpent

I remember going last year and seeing that sight I thought it was going to be a dive coaster but this still looks really good

Last time I went to DM Pandemonium was still there, though unfortunately I don’t think I’ll be going back any time soon as I’m much more of a thrill seeker than I used to be and Towers is only a few miles further away from me

I think this area looks great and you have made me want to visit. I went to the adventure cove area last year and enjoyed the new water ride. I am glad that Drayton are expanding their food range, I had a hot dog from Humble Pie last year and it was,nt great. I thought you might like to know that the funfair at Doncaster has got a small suspended coaster called Superheros I dont know if you have done that one or not, it looks like a kids ride. They also have a topspin, tagada, freak out, booster, Oygen (like an enterprise) pony treck ride, crazy bulls, waltzer, dogems, sizzler, fun house and games and junior rides. Can,t wait for your next vlog.

Yep they've done a fantastic job, enough that I actually want to visit this park now whereas I wasn't sure before. Still, they really, really need a new coaster.

Wow This is amazing for Drayton Manor, What a great turnout at the opening day for the New vikings attractions, its great seeing the visitors enjoying themselves exploring the New attractions and rides too, I’m actually surprised how quickly this section of the park has been transformed by the management New investments, I guess you were overwhelmed with excitement being here for this opening Day after having so many behind the scenes experiences witnessing at first hand the New construction works, layouts ride installations plus much more to mention, I did however enjoy your 3 series Drayton Manor’s Vikings attraction updated videos, I must admit I love your enthusiasm, admire your positivity even your opinions first impression of the vikings attractions expressions your views overall, Hey Shawn I did love the small christmas trees that were in the planting lol The theming throughout was really nice I love that New ride Loki, It’s very satisfying to watch also the mechanical structures

You're right about Valhalla / Walhalla. See also Wickie de Viking, the Dutch translation of Vicky the Viking. I meanr: Vickie? Wickie? But then surely: Wiking?!? And it's Viking?!? 16:32 Aka making sure Wickie and his lot with their mispronounciations are not in the park ;)

It was cool seeing Loki with Apocalypse behind it. Makes me think of sightlines that only lasted a season or 2 like Twister without Dragstar in 2002 or El Toro and The Chiller, stuff like that

Sleipnir certainly looks like the odd one out... they should have certainly added more theming around there until the plants grow in as currently it looks like 'Garden Centre Tour: The Ride'. Sleipnir is also Odin's horse which in mythology had 8 legs yet these horses (not even mythical horses) have 4. Other than that little niggle everything else is incredible. Im waffling now haha taa raa

They really should have made the Vikings area an Anglo-Saxon area! It would have been so fitting considering that Tamworth was the capital of Mercia - the biggest of the Anglo-Saxon kingdoms. A celebration of the area's past, as well as educational. I suppose that Vikings just have more market potential and are more pop culturally iconic.

I can appreciate this new area as its full of life and freshness but my only criticism is the buffalo coaster.. so ok fair enough change it up as before it was very old and tired but I think they have cheated massively by just changing the name and the actual coaster because to just leave the original track in place and not even bother to change the colour of the track is abit half arsed just in my opinion. It even looks like it still struggles to go around. They should have changed the track layout abit and changed the mechanisms to give it more of a modern smoother and faster ride experience.

Could you imagine a small scale Dive Coaster where it looks like you're going to dive into the lake with some airtime hills after the dive and a large curve back to bring riders back above ground themed to the Valkyries added to the area for the more thrill seeking guests? 😮😍

Well that was a quick construction from Drayton Manor fantastic work from the park. I can only wish for good things for Drayton’s future it can work as a thrill and family in my eyes, the interest is still there from us all. Hopefully one day 🎢 🙏🏻

Sleipnir looks like a modern take on the old vintage car ride from many years ago. Great use of the space. Miss the old funboat lol.

Wow. That Loki is certainly halfway if not further how Efteling could put a Zamperla Nebulaz in heir park. Make it a crazy mill or something.There must be some story there and if not, they've got a storyline team.

The new areas of Daryton seem to have a slightly more cartoony feel (probably just the color palate)-but Walibi Rhone-Alps also has an awesome op cabin for their NebulaZ. It has US License Plates all over it and the other decorative parts

I love Vikings it is the best area in the UK and I hope they continue to improve the park with new themed area's and replace dated area's, and if this is what two area's look like imagine what the whole park will look like once it is all done there are two area's which I think need some work now the pirate themed area with pirates adventure or the apocalypse area since it is very untidy

Love going on this at chessington, unfortunately in feb when we went this year it was closed, the only official ride that was opened was blue barnicle🤷🏽‍♂️😂 Went on that ship so much that me and my son felt sick

Rode the Nebulaz at Adventure dome and unlike adventure dome Drayton Manor is loading the entire ride

I saw you when I was there on the opening day. when you were recording but didnt want to interrupt.

I'm glad they didn't put audio on the lake seating area because I wouldn't want to be trying to speak to someone and they can't hear me and vice versa. Plus I bet they didn't put any theming on the grass round the tree of life to make it easier to cut the grass, especially if they're using a ride on lawnmower i bet it takes minutes. Wouldn't want to be dismantling props every time to cut the grass.

i went to drayton manor the day u posted this video. sadly, thor was broken and loki took like 20 minutes for each ride.
