Loved this series. Only season 1 and there's already a ton of great characters and a lot of potential

The guy who played king Canute/knut was one of the few ppl that gave out og vikings vibe

All the new characters were great, I personally liked Canut, a wise king, Leif going berserk at the end was HARD as hell, can't wait for season 2.

Vikings: Valhalla is Number 1 on Netflix Philippines! I am so proud. I am actually a big fan of Vikings and I had big expectations for this show. When I started watching the show, I was too immersed in the show that I forgot my expectations. They did very well with the plot! Plus the actors of this show did an amazing job. Now that I've watched the behind-the-scenes, it made me appreciate the show even better! Just enjoy the show and stop comparing it to Vikings, you'll then appreciate the plot! :)

Once I’m done with Inventing Anna I’m definitely binging this. It looks so good 👏🏽

Despite all the time jumps, i think it was worth it to keep the pace at a very high level. I loved the acting btw. The fear and desperation in the boykings eyes were fenomenal. The vfx was outstanding. love to see more. Rather 8 good episodes then 15 with fillers.

This scene (and show) was so well done! Hopefully we get S2 this year

The last episode was crazy and so many epic and interesting characters. This show has so much potential

I’m sorry. This pissed me off. Setting aside whether the plan would actually work as portrayed… …all Edmund had to do was get off his horse and strip off enough armor to swim to the next piling. Or a few down so he couldn’t get picked off from behind by archers while climbing back up. But he had a freaking chance if he’d gotten his ass in gear. Even if his men had surrendered rather quickly rather than fight to cover his retreat, Canute and his men would still have been far enough behind to give him a chance at escape.

Anyone notice that there were many English archers in guard towers above the bridge, iwell positioned to rain down arrows when the Vikings first advanced but mysteriously disappeared once the battled started…total rubbish

I miss the old Vikings. History seems to have made a better show. They should be allowed to make this one as well. Gee, Netflix can't make good shows. It should just be a streaming platform.

The start i9 epoisode 5 makes absolutely no sense At the end of episoder 4 there is a big hole in the bridge stopping anyoe including Canute and his men from crossing It , Edmund has fallen for the trap BUT the City and a good number of soldiers is TOTALLY intact Next thing we see at the start of episdoe 5 is the Viking INSIDE the city with absolutely NO explanation of how they have managesd this feat apparentlly within a very short time ! How the fuck did they go from the end of episode 4 where they may have tircked Edmund but are stoill noi where near capturing London Iytself to the events at the start of eoisode 5??? A very karge dose of plot armour seems to have have carried their man men arcross the gaping hole in the bridge under the cover if all the archers and then teleported them over the large stone walls into a strrongy fortified city ? Pulling down parrt of the bridge may have woiked for the specific plot of episode 4 but then it has completely the OPPOSITE effect on any plans to actually assuali Londin proper, from the South making it HARDER to do so and imppossibkl ti use the brudge tio reacxh the gates And then you have to breach the walls and defences whilst under attack Thr City was we were told was well prepared for a seige the epsidoe befoi t?? HUH? Utter nonsense and it spoilt the series for me , I just cannio stand anymore lza y writing exemplified in the "well it happened because It HAD ti happen" for the plot to move firward in the way we want it to even if its totally illogical with NO explantion Maybe flying unicorns lifited them all across and then elephants with ladders on their backs allowed them to scale the walls ? I mean you might as well have this happen as its as nonsensical as them just walking Into London after the events of episode 4 !!

Shouldn't it be called Vikangz? Since the show includes a ("historically very accurate") kang. I find kangz annoying... don't they have their own culture and history? Probably not.. otherwise they wouldn't constantly try to creep into stories (etc.) where they do not belong. I'm not going to watch this bs... because of the immersion breaking kang.
