This comment is being made before listening to Shri Vikrant Guptaji, just because of eagerness to say what is in heart. Neil Harvey and Rohan Kanhai, both, earlier made double centuries against India's famous Indian Spin Attack of the time. Subhash Gupte, whom Sobers rated better than Warne even ( - Gupte did play against Kanhai, am sure, whereas Harvey did also probably play against him, for the double centuries); most of the time, they were coming out to meet the ball, when pitching. In our team, Shresh Iyer does it, but not so accurately; Riyan Parag also plays like him. The other present players remain rooted to the crease. The required technique, therefore, to play spin is missing. It is a wonder as to why the required propiciency is not required by our batsmen which they can easily do by vigorous practice by playing with our own spin bowlers. Besides that, proficiency in playing the sweep shot also needs to be acquired to nullify the spinners. Navjot Singh Siddhu and Tendulkar should be teaching them to an extent in the art.
