If momota did not met with that accident, he would have won gold in both the Olympics.. wat a champ he was, i remember axelson could beat everyone but couldn't win a single match against momota for more than 10 matches straight.. he was untouchable for victor, but then momota met with that accident which gave him issues of double vision and other health problems.. and sadly he could never recover from that.. and he lost badly against normal players.. i loved momota san's matches.. this story tells the indefinite nature of human aspirations how ever good you are.. Thank God for your every moments in your lives.. if you are alive, then you are ought to give thanks to God..
If Axelsen never had that surgery he would still only be a "good" player insted of the 2x gold since.#2 on the GOAT list would be a fair accesment, and still some way to go to beat LD though a newer ERA is allways on a higher level. Funny to see Kunvalut do the LD fake shot once, worked, and then again, and instant punished. He didnt do it again after that.
Denmark has 5.9 million people but has several gold olympic while malaysia with 33 million people can't win any gold. What a heaven cuz no chinese MS entered to semi final in olympic edition this year. Now, LCW will only leave a regret cuz his 3 consecutive silver olympic medals have meant nothing compared to axelsen who has a couple of gold olympic! Besides that, axelsen has 1 bronze olympic more than lin dan!

@@VipulKumar-jn2yn L sen lost to Lee Zii jia but has defeated him 4 times before including in Asian games semis/qtrs / All Eng qtrs etc so Lakshya Sen has upper hand, vis-a-vis Viktor only 2 players could have troubled him HS Pranoy (has a good record against him compared to others defeated Alexsen infront of his home crowd in World Championship but pranoy himself was far from his 2023 form) , L Sen (considering his form)/ over-thinking from Alexsen side but he is on a different level.
@@anitapadhi325 that's my point if you ask who is difficult to beat Sen or viditsarn axselsen will say it is Sen if lakshya would have held his nerve he would have beaten Axelsen in straight games
@@VipulKumar-jn2yn first watch badminton then give sermons . I agree L Sen felt the nerves and his injury to right arm( dominant arm) in the match affected him mentally in 2nd set. Prime Lin Dan> Prime Lee Chong Wei (LCW) > Prime Taufik Hidayat > Prime Axelsen in this order, LCW came back from retirement at 35 and defeated Axelsen prime lol those that make him a weak player. Axelsen is amongst top 5/6 players ever to play the game, All Engs and WCs are highly regarded in Badminton.
