👏 any hints on how to play?

Sorry, I didn't log in for the longest time. Hmm, how is it going? By asking how to play, you are already on your way to better progress. I would suggest, practicing and singing with your fingers, heart and ears, in addition to the suggestions your teacher has likely made to you. ^^ Best wishes to you. If you get to upload your perf, please kindly share it here? Would love to hear it.

It will take time and patience to practice - do you know of this inspiring story - “How Alan Rusbridger learned to play Chopin's first Ballade” - www.theguardian.com/music/video/2013/jan/11/alan-rusbridger-chopin-video I don’t want to boast about the adult students in my studio, but yes, I have witnessed the huge progress and results in them. One did claim to leave piano at level 3 30 years ago (with small hands), she moved me a lot when she finally performed the C sharp minor prelude by S. Rachmaninov. (She even memorized it.) Another one picked up the g minor Chopin ballade on his own, then I helped to polish it up. But most importantly, I do believe “when there is a will, there is a way”. Exploring a random piano channel (with less popular choices here) and liking this piece is a fantastic start. Thank you very much for your wonderful question. Here is a free copy of music, pages 13 & 14 - vmirror.imslp.org/files/imglnks/usimg/d/de/IMSLP396354-PMLP589244-Kosenko_24_Piano_pieces_1962.pdf Looking forward to hear your progress? p.s. It must also be fate, I keep thinking I have turned off the comments feature. It has been wonderful to read from you. Happy practicing. I believe also a lot of practicing hands separately, singing (with fingers like painting) and breathing while playing.

Johnny Zhou, thank you very much. I have turned off the “comment” feature for a while. So, you are the first one after I reversed the setting just a few days ago. :)
