As I was conducting a peaceful 1st Amendement Audit at the Port Jefferson City Hall on Long Island, New York, Village Attorney Richard Harris immediately escalates, calls Port Jefferson Constables & Suffolk County Police telling them lies and tries to act like a tough guy and intimidate me. What an embarrassment to the town to hire rude power hungry thugs. This is a town to avoid when touring or shopping. Too risky when the town attorney doesn't know the law. You would somewhat expect an educated person to be less hostile and not using physically threatening body language. I love the fact that all of these folks have most likely watched this video and get the public shaming they earned.

I normally get loud and agatitated but that time I remained calm and level which got him so angry that he jumped from his desk and started pounding the wall. I suspect that Richard was trying really hard to agitate you into violence or some trumped up charges of disorderly conduct. It was calculated to get you to incriminate yourself. I give you props on calling his bluff and remaining calm in the face of tyranny. Not giving him power by irritating you is what caused him to eventually realize his plan failed and he backed down because he had nothing and he knew it. This sociopathic and manipulative behavior is troubling in a public official, but far too often is the norm.

Hi! So I live in Europe, and have been watching many of these very interesting videos showing what it’s REALLY like to live in the USA, and not just TV and Hollywood stuff. I have come to the conclusion that what SeanPaul is doing is really great work and good for everyone! Judging on how he’s treated on a second visit to Public offices, as compared to his first experiences, it would seem to me that everybody involved goes off to watch themselves online, and it can’t be very flattering to see yourself wide eyed, frothing at the mouth, shouting “You have to leave, I have authority over you!” ... But that’s just me.

I left a message with the mayor's office.. and expressed my complete disgust at the behavior of the employees abuse of a citizen engaged in this constitutionally protected first amendment and the incompetence of the village constables and the attorney... I politely let them know they failed the public's trust and are a complete waist of resources if they can't even get the very first supreme law of the United States of America right... He identified with a pleasant attitude and when you asked him if they were educated, he said yes and then said good seeing you. Very cordial and polite! Yes,it's certainly possible that this isn't the worst example of official misconduct in which he's engaged ...but another possible explanation is that he's just another graduate of Close Cover Before Striking Law School who can't seem to get a date on a Saturday night.

Village Attorney Richard Harris did a great job making himself look dumb for all of us to see around the world, for decades to come. He voluntary made the decision to violate the law. But he encountered a citizen that is not lightly chased away. Bad for him!
