Just came across this video, and loved the tulu being spoken by Sanjeeth. Even though he seemed to struggle with the language, but who cares, message is clear :)
Shared on story and I wish this video hits 1M views and awesome likes. Kudos to the effort Vikram and Harsha... 👍 Special thanks to Mr.Silent Sanjith 👍
guys you should have wrapped the banana leaf in Foil paper. it would have cooked extremely fast and I have tried the same but, when the banana leaf is burnt, it actually doesn't taste good. if you have used Foil Paper, then that taste is Heaven
@Unbox Karnataka Happy friendship day bros...Hats.off to your dedication and perseverance for shooting 2 videos at the same time really enjoyed this 4k village cooking video...It was a music to my ears to hear sanjeeth bro speaking in Tulu
Dear Vikram and Sanjeeth (Hope I spelled your name correctly), Nice video and fantastic Vlog about cooking fish in banana leaf. Open air outing, open cooking using wood fire and enjoying food with friends. Really amazing. ______________ As usual our comments. Please pardon us and ignore our comments. Sanjeeth Sir, you made us wait patiently until the end of the video to understand what type of fish you are cooking. Finally, mystery got resolved. I heaved the sigh of relief because at least fish name you mentioned and the quality of the fish meat your described was almost correct as per the locals. Our kind request to you and Vikram Sir is to really go and see the live fish wherever this fish is being farmed (reared or maintained) and mainly look for its teeth. Desis especially highly respected Karnataka citizens may not like to go beyond the three main activities ಊಟ (Eating) ಮೆಳಗು (Sleeping) ಮತ್ತು ಹೇಳದು (downloading) in their entire life. Somehow they do not like to push themselves further - laid back mentality. Therefore none of viewers (Unbox), we will guarantee you by 100% - will care about what type of fish it is? where it is grown? what is the history of this fish? why it is gaining popularity? what is so special about this fish? Is it native to India? etc. _________ Salient features of "Roop Chanda" fish. The ‘Roop Chanda’ fish is actually Red bellied Pacu - Freshwater Pamfret. It has been identified as dreaded fish in the world - the red-bellied piranha because it is highly aggressive and carnivorous. It is most commonly found in Amazon river and native to South America. Locals in South India are calling this fish as ‘Roop Chanda’. This is single bone freshwater fish and have no strong odour. They are mainly fried or steamed. These fish are packed with protein and omega acid.
Very very dilicious. This preparation same as Bengal style except sour. I don't understand your language but I understand all to watch your demonstration. Stay safety, Thank you.
