I had just finished writing a reply to another youtuber who asked for recommendations while in KL, really like 5 minutes earlier or even less, of course I wrote a lengthy recommendation about traditional malay food in _kampung baru_ and then I came across this video with you showing _kampung baru!_ 👍 Excellent. I'll forward the link to this video to them, maybe they can use it as a reference. Anyhow, this is the 1st video of yours that I have encountered. And you have been coming to malaysia since 2014, and for 20 times??? Wow, amazing. Were they all work related, or true holidays? Honoured to have someone from a different country liking, and heaping praises on our country, _terima kasih._ And you know some _bahasa malaysia_ and _bahasa indonesia_ too, wonderful! 👍 How long is your stay in KL/malaysia this time? And are you from the netherlands? Anyhow, hope you have managed to get everything sorted smoothly for your trip to bangladesh. Be safe and have fun!
Thank you! Yes, I've been coming since 2014, as a tourist. I have traveled a lot in Asia, and Malaysia is close to everything. When I wanted to rest in a modern country, I would go to Malaysia :) I am from Latvia. This time again it will be a long stay, around 3 months (but I am going to Bangladesh in between)
Kampung baru is unique, a traditional Malay village in the middle of the city. It is also a hotspot for Malay's food in KL. If you stay here longer recommend you visit Kampung Budaya at Terengganu, also check out the beautiful tropical islands there 🏝
@@MakeAdventureHappen in Terengganu not Sarawak..Terengganu is a state at the east coast of peninsular Malaysia, while Sabah n Sarawak are east Malaysia(Borneo). If you love beautiful tropical islands must visit Pulau Perhentian, Pulau Redang, Pulau Tioman etc
If they are rich, I hope they maintain, beautify and upkeep their building. Most building looks run down, broken and dilapidated. Hope malaysia can Learn from Thailand or indonesia villages, which is clean , tidy and refine. Kampung Baru has become the face of malaysia
@@acerazak4087oh yes, villages in Indonesia are beautiful, their cultural asset is strong and refine.please look it up on RU-vid. They have nice village vibe ,beautiful, clean and tidy. Most importantly their traditional architecture is very refine and alive. Almost like japanese village vibe. If you go to Mae kampong in Thailand or any kampong in Indonesia, most of them are beautiful. If only malaysia can learn a thing or two from them instead of chasing useless property speculation and bubbles economy.
I would like to marry an American girl but if it didn't work, I'll just go to Kampung Baru, Kuala Lumpur search for my ideal Malaysian Malay spouse soon! In sha Allah!
