One thing I advice you to improve your work is for quenching methods use bar soap of clothes.put the edges into the fire and become red and put the soap by wiping the edges of the knife put it again back to the fire for 5 seconds then take it and submerge the edges of the knife into the water and the edges it becomes white, this is the result of good quality for quenching methods.the purpose is to prolong the sharp of the edges while you use it for a Long period of time.
It's humbling to see these guys mass producing something by hand that could have been made very easily and more accurately by hot stamping. Surely with their level of skills, these guys could have made some simple stamps first? The big hammer would still have been needed, but the finished consistency would be better.
