The best part about it is that you can actually see their fighting styles on screen. Arthur is more brutal throwing people around, Orm is more precise and likes to show off and Black Manta just does whatever he can to win the fight. The choreographer was on point.
EBW I know but most of the times even if they try to do so, the fighting styles are not translated into the movie so the fights end up looking very generic. That doesn't happen in this movie.

@@Homelander238 If you must know, they didn't actually fight underwater. Since they are water based superheroes, they can swim super fast and practically "fly" underwater, like regular Earth based superheroes. It was just like regular superheroes fight on Earth whilst flying.
It's good, if they can progress themselves though friendly competition, and why not let them? Too many guys don't understand integrity and pride -.-' and that's where you separate men from boys. Doesn't matter if they didn't get as big as the next guy, it matters they actually tried.
Never thought of Patrick Wilson as a action character. But damn he should make more action movies. Hope they have a bigger role for orm and black manta in the future.
my guess is he will probably become the dc version of loki i have to think there is a reason athur said they should talk later and how he only got arrested not exiled. Probaby become more of an anti hero in the future now that is anger for arthur is pointless because he cannot blame him for the mother anymore.

MCU movies, Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man Trilogy, Dark Knight Trilogy, Watchmen, Superman, Superman 2, Superman Returns and Tim Burton’s Batman movies have a ton of fantastic performances...

Everyone looked like a complete physical machine for this movie. And is it me or was the costume design for this movie absolutely phenomenal. Arthur's suits were great but black manta and ocean masters were just incredible.
I love the enthusiasm that everyone had behind the scenes. Damn. *Especially* from the guy who plays Manta. He looks like he had a blast playing that role. 😁

Jason and Patrick...oh boy, these are two handsome dudes. And, for 47 years old, Patrick looks AMAZING. It looks like he and Jason had a lot of fun training together and doing those fight scenes.
I liked the talk between joker and batman ,flash power and speed is amazing in this movie , wonder woman in snyders justice league makes wonder woman from 1984 look like a fuckin disney princess , 4 hours wasnt enough for me , i want more plz wb give me 8 hours of injustice , i want to remind u all that wb gave zack only 70 million to finish cgi and visiual , thats why some cgi felt choppy and incomplete, this movie feels good . I liked the tone in this not too light like wonderwoman 1984 it didnt work at all felt like disney movie and not too dark and boring like bvs , this movie has a balanced combination between the two tones .
Cant wait for Patrick Wilson in the next sequel bulking a little more, Black Manta is my new favorite villain in the DCEU for now damn he is so badass in the movie
since forever i loved patrick wilson acting , he can manipulate any character under his own will .......i think he would make a great x men character in the Mcu ....may be cyclops or even young magneto or .........Professor x which i think its mind blowing coz he can fit in every damn role ................

It's very rare that I find myself more preoccupied with the director of a superhero movie rather than the actors themselves, but I have to admit that James Wan is one of the best directors that I have seen for the superhero genre. He was so creative and passionate about directing this movie and I hope he gets more recognition in the future. The DC movies need him. You can tell that he did a great job utilizing the actors and sets to their full potential.
I love how superhero movies are making more and more actors work out and get in shape. Then people see the movies, see how the actors look and work out themselves. Then their friends work out too. In other words, superhero movies are good for general physical health. (Does not apply to all viewers)

I concluded that Black Panther and Avengers Infinity War were the superhero movies of 2018 halfway before the year ended, until I saw Aquaman. Completely turned the tides! It was visually pleasing especially in 3D! The story direction of the adventure was great and the characters were awesome, and I love how they put the Ocean kingdoms to life such as Antlantis and the Brine(crustaceans). Also because there are Sharks. I love Sharks lol.
My impression of his performance as Orm was that the character was closer to the comic Arthur Curry than Jason's version. Had they gone that route with the character, Patrick could easily have rocked the Hell out of the role.
Every single cast member in this movie is FANTASTIC!! Love James Wan he is literally like us a fan! I wish we get to see patrick more he is super talented and goddamn that was amazing black manta i want more of him in future!!
It´'s not just that the role of King Orm is very well developed in the script, it's even more important the performance of Patrick Wilson, so intense and rude. And he also wears the PUMAS jersey when he trains (the best Mexican soccer team). Yeahh !!!
Is it weird if I felt Black Manta has more charisma than black panther(movie wise, not the comics)? Not sure is it because of the actors or the character itself. Hope he gets more screen time in Aquaman sequel.
