After the capture of Drosselmeyer, Jessie and James receive a message from the boss, ordering them to go back to headquarters for a test.
Currently locked up, the Beagle Boys get a gift from a criminal under the alias, "El Capitan," to help them escape from prison and meet him in a prison he remade into a mansion.
Hades holds a meeting with the Goddess of the Night, Nyx, to propose an alliance with her, to help him take over Olympus, overthrow her lying brother Zues and his followers, and get the spot on the Pantheon she deserves. Meanwhile, a yokai who recently escaped from the River Styx has overheard their plans and seems interested in joining them.

Under Joe's nose, Plankton travels to the castle of the god of the sea, seeing what he assumes is one of Ursula's allies, Marina Del Ray. Disguising himself as a servant, the copepod promises the mermaid vast control over the seven seas.
Ursula however sees this as treason, due to her rivalry with Atlantis, and decided to put matters into her own tentacles.
With monster territory being attacked by the humans, Skeletor decides to build an army of his own, both as an award to assist Maleficent and Venger, and to get back at the Homunculi that caused him his deformation, especially Wrath. As such, he travels in a chaotic wasteland currently inhabited by a group of wild monsters, mostly retile-esque ones.
The leader of the group, the manipulative reptilian warrior, Toffee, alongside his two generals, the demonic Witch, Shadow Weaver and the Toad-like monster, Captain Grime, hear of Skeletor's arrival, but do not take kindly to intruders.
It isn't until Skeletor tells of the attack of humans on Monster Territory until Toffee took interest, mainly because he had a long hatred on the human race ever since they enslaved and tortured him many years ago, and alongside his generals, accepts to help him and his masters in the fight against the true monsters.
