I have watched several interviews with Mr. Ville Valo and watched his concerts , he is truly an incredible artist, personable, relatable and genuinely a nice person. Love your voice, hypnotic, hauntingly beautiful
This is one of the best interviews I’ve heard with Ville. You’re getting to hear about a complete other side to him and, his feelings towards music and existence. Thank you!
Always wondered why Ville and Lauri seem to have different accents. How ever the Finland language as alway sound as if the almost purrrrr as they speak. Im fascinated and in love with it. Ville voice is very soothing to me. ❤
This is such a wonderful interview, I am so happy you both had familiarity before going into the interview. I love the jacket story, it really shows what kind of character Ville has as a person for his fellow man. I’ve always gotten the vibe that he has a big heart for other men who treat him kindly, and I can hear the admiration in your voice and I think it’s sweet as hell (as a female fan, over the years I’ve come to appreciate his generous kindness towards his male fans) I loved hearing about the songwriting process through the pandemic, hearing what kinds of thing he chooses to focus on, and like hearing that he chooses to be optimistic and hopeful is beautiful. Also enjoyed hearing him self reflect on Venus doom and his feelings towards some of his older work, as someone who grew up listening to his music, I feel like hearing how he navigated his youth is helpful for me who is in the ages he was while HIM got big. It’s really a miracle how grounded of a person he is despite everything he’s been through (fame, sex icon, etc) It’s been a while since Ville did an interview like this, I could have seriously listened to you guys talk about Neon Noir, the pandemic, existentialism, bonding stories for HOURS…some people post 2 hours of interview footage of other musicians and I don’t get the value I got out of these 25 minutes I also enjoyed your interview style! Thank you for making this video, I also loved the thumbnail and was not disappointed by how good this was
JAMESSSS!! This interview is stellar. 🖤 You ask such wonderful questions. It’s nice to hear Ville speak freely about his experience & creative processes. Great work, man!
Omg Ville!!! 😮 I didn't think I would ever have the chance to put a message out there that you could possibly read. I found you about the time when Right here in my Arms came out. I am so happy that you didn't end it with just HIM as your only career in the industry cuz you are so amazing. Well Im sending you love ❤ 🌟
I'm on a bit of a binge of Ville interviews right now... and I just listened to one where the interviewer was american and Ville's english was more neutral and now talking to a brit, only 5 minutes in his english already gets a slight tint of british. and before, I heard an interview done by a german interviewer who spoke english with a slight german accent and there I could hear a very faint finnish lilt in Ville's english. 😊and it gives me great joy. as well as the rest of the interview. because he is a little freak in the best possible way and for other little freaks, like myself, it's always wholesome and interesting to listen to a little freak. being thrown back into teenager feelings of derealisation and depersonalisation (2 different flavours of dissociation)... art as a coping mechanism or the way to understand the world... and.... of course... the many different shades of black. I realate too hard.
I live in the best climate but I act like I live on North, I think it's not always the climate, it's the way we are. Nice interview. I get what Ville says, that way of thinking is my world. ❤
Aw James! It was 2006 in Milano. March I think. That's because I spoke to you for some hours while we were hanging out with Silke and some HIM fans back at the hotel hall. Very cool conversation, it was. ✨
Irritatingly nice isn’t a complement. He definitely looked annoyed the second time the interviewer said that. Mostly good questions, but some of it is shit comments and questions by the interviewer.
@@spoookmagazine Good answer! Unfortunately, there are too many of his fans who constantly feel the need to protect this man. In fact, he doesn't need it at all. Ville Hermanni Valo has been in this business for decades and knows exactly what he is doing and how to react
Nah I don't believe he was annoyed... Especially considering the fact that they knew each other before this interview. It felt like two old friends chatting, stop taking everything so seriously.... I wanna know @spoookmagazine if you took him up on his offer of meeting up with him backstage.
