I can't believe how complex, deep, intelligent, unique, amusing his mind is. Can you imagine any other rockstar/celebrity/human being converse on this level? I can't. He can turn a stupid question into a serious philosophical debate, He has amazing opinions and views on life, love, religion, art...everything! He has a great sense of humor, is humble and does not take himself too seriously He creates from his heart, what he feels and not what would make him rich.. His body- just cherry on cake
I'm 33 and i love Ville. I think he's a very good person, he´s so sentimental, so sensitive to the world, to the fans, to his group, to his friends and family.I'm from Portugal and i saw HIM alive in Oporto at 2000 and i saw Ville before the stage, without his makeup and he is so charming, so fucking beautiful...and i love his lyrics.kisses
I love that he decided to get sober. that just makes people admire him even more than they did already. He is such an intelligent man and his views are so interesting. I could spend countless hours talking to this man if i could ever meet him. he is incredible and a wonderful musician. Good for you Ville. we love you.
I never listened so outspoken-hearty words, Villes words, which has so deepness,( sure I like and I know that he is everytime talking from his heart and honestly..) ..deep-rooted ..... which , you know :) his philosophy is the biggest tree in his soul ..,,meaning like breathing you need to stay alive..but no everyone knows that ... could breathe differently.. all this involve for me intent or inner spirit which must be found by everyone of us.. ( I am sorry of my English, hard working for it )

I'm 38 and I love Ville! HIM are the best group of talented musicians I've ever heard! I have this dvd and I love it too. Ville looks so good in his black clothes with the bedroom voice, it's perfect!
he gave up drinkin...havin him give up smokin just like dat is just askin for too much..u gotta leave him to some of his vices...he's an amazin artist and a God!! i wouldn't want him any other way...i'd marry him in a hear beat if i could haha
@magific666 No. He went to rehab in 2007, and he's been sober since then. And he quit smoking a year ago, he said it in an interview, you can find it here on youtube, it's called "Kerrang! Ville Valo Interview at Download Festival June 2010".
@taborszernagy he went to rehab a year ago and quit drinking and drugs...but he's still smoking...he said it's just one of his vices that he can't give up
its so weird because if u see him in some other interviews hes so real. hes funny, and he just sounds really articulate. btw thats just really odd: he is really funny.

lol if you think Ville says 'you know' a lot you should watch Billie Joe Armstrong's (from Greenday) interview with Times Talk. He says it like a hundred times in 10 mins. lol.
It is also very hard to learn new languages for people born in English spoken countries. It is not very easy to get rid of that accent and it is heavier than you might think :)
Uh he just said that he/some writers are self centered and they write songs about themselves,and ville has forgotten about his parents that has been with him even through his drunken days.

This interview is indeed wonderful but its disappointing to see this video on RU-vid. They spent years and thousands of dollars making this DVD and then someone just HAD to post it on the internet. Shows how much you love this band eh? Its impossible to get the DVD where I live unless you buy it online but I still got it. Instead of succumbing to all of your selfish desires to see HIM, spare a thought for the band and buy the DVD goddamnit
