Without a doubt man. highest win % of all time in supercross. He has some wild records. Also not talked about enough these days for whatever reason, but when someone does mention him on the broadcast it makes me happy. Ryan and his brother Tyler were both incredible
Thank you for sharing and thank you for not adding any soundtrack. It was nice to hear how these pro's use the throttle and just how smooth that are. Thank you again.
Rv may have spent the last part of his career on prepped tracks but he is a very good rough track rider, not the best but better than most. Now he's on a yamaha no more hole shots for sure.
Nice, flat and well prepped track which is useless training for him. The whole world knows that RV2 can go amazingly fast under such nice conditions, but that's not what he is going to find in the real motos. I thought at first that they had dialed in the suspension since the bike didn't bounce around, but than I saw how flat it was.
You are joking, right? If not, you should get a better understanding of the sport before making such naive comments. RV is certainly not my favorite rider, but he is without question the fastest rider the sport has seen to date.
Stacey Gannon You should have a better understanding. JS7 is a faster rider than RV2 without a doubt. Anyway, RV2 is racing GP's to show that he is faster, or as fast as the top GP riders on global MX tracks and he hasn't been faster than them yet. I truly don't think RV is faster than Cairoli on a random selection of global MX tracks.
Stewart faster than RV? What are you smoking? He's faster so that's why.RV won the 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2014 supercross titles huh? In all 68 of those events you'll see that RV straight up dominated Stewart 10 times for every ONE that Stewart got the best of RV. In any outdoor series in which they.both competed RV walked all over Stewart and pulled huge gaps on him in 95% of the races. Tell me any event in which Stewart straight up beat RV and I'll give you 5 times as many examples of RV not just beating Stewart, but pulling at least a 10-30 second gap on him. There is ZERO facts to back up anybody who says Stewart is faster. For the goof saying Cairoli, Nagle, and those guys are faster....bullshit. RV is adapting to new types of tracks, schedule, team, etc. If any of the top Euros came to the states to compete, they'd struggle their asses off with mediocre finishes for at least a year. In any MXON RV competed in he smoked every ass from every country. In any series that RV has gone against Stewart in he has walked all over Stewart. I can give you example after example of RV passing Stewart on the OUTSIDE and pulling huge gaps quick. The ONLY times RV wasnt the champion were the times he was out due to injury. For 5 straight years if RV were in it, he won the title indoors or out. Stewart faster than RV? Oh hell no. Cairoli, Nagle, and Europeans? Maybe at times right now on EUROPEAN tracks. Overall though...no. Stewart is fast and an all time great, but he can only run with RV every once in a great while. The rest of the time RV walks all over him. Go back and watch the last 4 years of supercross or the 2013 outdoor season and you'll see how clear it is.
Scandle68 I'd say that RV is the best rider having the best combination of speed and consistency. Stewart has been riding lousy at times, not beeing in shape and for unknown reasons not giving his best, but I think that Stew at his best, which hasn't been very often is the fastest guy ever. For example last year in st louis. I don't think Thailand, Quatar and Argentina are very european tracks but regardless of RV, the top 3 - 4 guys in the GP is a tougher competition than any of the other guys in the Nat's. There is no way in hell Roczen or Musq could go back and win the title today. Dungey as good as he is would not make a top 5 in GP today.
ivanasw1 useless conversation ........for the Americans , RV wil always be the best and for us its Cairoli ....no matter what happens this year ..... even if Cairoli would beat him straight up in 5 races ....fact is , RV was best in USA for years .... lets see how that compares to the MXGP these days ......he came over to race the MXGP , so excuses like Cairoli has to come to the USA and beat him are useless ... let RV be the best on USA tracks , this year its only about MXGP tracks and riders and how RV can cope with that ... it was his own choice to sign for a year , bit cocky in my opinion but thats what a top rider should be in my opinion ....who knows he can and takes it , if not he deserves all the respect but it shows that MXGP is on even level as US outdoors these days .... from the first 3 races , there were 2 tracks new to all riders , and pretty flat too like US tracks.... so no advantages or whatever for anybody , if he was that much better he should have won them all in my opinion ...didnt happen , you could say he didnt have a good start ...well, there were more people who didnt had a good start like Nagl or Paulin ...yet they came upfront and even won , so it looks he has problems to make the pace and overtake people , maybe due to the fact that RV rides other style especially in corners .....the season just started . lets see what happens .......... oh and Stewart faster as RV must be a joke he ....not even close .............
