I like how Vince just acknowledges he’ll be regarded as the prime force behind the series regardless of his involvement but chooses to use that platform to continuously credit Peter Gould and others

The Aaron entering as Rhea leaving was a great cross-universe bit of writing. Jimmy's dialogue with Walter in their cell revealed him as a person much more capable of change than Walter's fixed ego trip crimelord.
@giovannitv5620
@giovannitv5620 2 года назад
The poetry in that dialogue is so subtle and incredible. Walter thought he was using an alter ego (Heisenberg) during his crimes, but he was actually just externalizing the version of him hidden inside; Jimmy thought he was externalizing his real self, but in reality just using a mask (Saul). Brilliant!

I think one of the great things about Kim is that she's the only one who didn't look at Saul and assumes he's bad. Kim didn't. She always encouraged him and believed he could be good. His brother did some but there was always a jab and desire to put him down in Chuck. But Kim believed he could be good and that eventually, admittedly very late, broke through.

I love that they gave Better Call Saul 63 episodes vs Breaking Bad’s 62 episodes. Seasons 1-5 of BCS had ten episodes per season, so it definitely seems intentional that they didn’t do 62 episodes to tie with BB, they planned for one more episode to finish with 63.

Saul was always slip and fall Jimmy, remember his brother saying that he stole money from his father's shop and sent him broke.
@MillennialBro
@MillennialBro 2 года назад
No, overgeneralized. Jimmy’s dad was a sucker, could not make money even if he tried. Jimmy tried to help him when rare coins came through or there was a scammer playing him. The dad would not listen, so the only money jimmy stole were those rare coins his dad would pass up, over selling their value a decade later with his buddy.

You live in a society with money,with rich and poor,etc...they don't drop names in the last episode (Buffett,Jobs) randomly.Both series make critisim in society. "Human nature,morality" are bs.Jimmy never lost complete his soul,only because he had Kim,he regretted,but this doesn't change the society which create Sauls.

It wasn’t forced. It added more context around Saul mentioning Lalo, the time machine moral of the finale, and how Jesse knew about Saul. Also it wouldn’t make sense for them to show up in earlier seasons. Saul doesn’t meet them until season 2 of breaking bad. Walt was just living his boring life as a teacher, and anything either of them do in earlier seasons of BCS would have nothing to do with the overall story.
