Yes, when media companies see a value in the AEW brand, you can increase ROHs value by putting the AEW brand on top of it. If you don’t see the value, it explains why you’re not in the position rich people are.

I feel like TK made the decision to buy ROH was more from the heart than a business decision. It feels to me, and this is just me, like when Vince bought WCW and ECW. But that's more of Vince being a deranged, petty man child who wants to own the world.
@@pooldead7712 WWE would've probably made ROH into a pseudo NXT of sorts, a development brand for newer talent, and probably would've put ROH stars on WWE tv, getting ROH more mainstream exposure than being hidden behind a paywall.
As a fan of ROH that started watching in 2012... merging AEW and ROH is the only right option. The company has never been in a worse place and shape than now. TK bought it, gave it a new hope and ultimately put it on the shelf where it's slowly rotting without anyone remembering how great things used to be. Quite frankly it's already sad that this is how this legendary company dies... but let's put it out of it's misery.
People act like TK killed ROH but the truth is, bobody wanted to televise it. ROH was dead and TK kept it on life support. Hes now considering making it a sorta NXT to AEW and that's a great idea.

If i remember rightly, and im way out of date on US data protection law, requests for medical records are protected by the HIPPA laws, and patients have rights to get accurate medical files regardless of any stay in other related legal cases. Vince's lawyers appear to be reaching.
Getting these files through discovery is the contention. If she merely requested them for personal medical use it'd be different, but continuing to get evidence through discovery while a case has a stay doesn't exactly look good.

People forget that when Black was still in WWE, people hated his cryptic promos. I watched some old Cultaholic podcasts n they were all meh on it too. He needs a real good strong story. Copeland was fun. I want him to get a title and Buddy and Brody grab the tags.
And ive noticed this ,even with Commentary team ,they talk about the PAST of ROH too much ,and ROH for its time was innovative workrate wise , but it cant be anymore cause a lot of talent in the big leagues wrestle like ROH ,so what purpose does ROH have Now? Its an ROH tribute show now
I’ve said this before about ROH since Tony has bought it, it’s consistent. Good matches, excellent event shows, building or rebranding talent, and everything with Athena/Starks is gold. It reminds me of the Black/Gold era of NXT. It’s rebuilt so many acts like Angelico/Serpentico becoming very popular, Letting Griff find a personality, The Infantry, etc. It’s a place for those new or lost in the shuffle to thrive and an excellent place to scout new talent like the Outrunners or Lady Frost for example who started as ROH enhancement.
What’s to merge? ROH is a dead brand. The titles are more on AEW then they are on ROH anyways, nothing would change. He should cancel ROH altogether and merge all titles in a huge blow-off PPV.
if they convert it into something like NXT, it's hope for those underused to have room to prove themselves and develop a little more, establish more storylines. it just doesn't need to be paywalled.
A lot of “Fans” forget how close ROH was to disappearing forever before Khan bought it, could it be better yes . I personally think ROH could be a hot product as AEWs NXT. Quit putting ROH belts on AEW all the time and give up and commers a chance to develop with visits from ROH legends and other promotions .
Just turn Collision into ROH. With the feel of it lately, I think it would fit. They have 3 shows a week, two for AEW, one for ROH would be fine. When I saw Collision last time, that's what I was thinking. That's what it reminded me of. It just gave me ROH vibes.
The only surprise that AEW got an attendance of 81,000 at Wembley is when these UK wrestling channels all keep saying how surprised they were... when its a market that has a large fanbase and never gets live shows it shouldn't be surprising that people come from far and wide to attend. Its why WWE went to London last year for Money in the Bank: they were having a hard time selling tickets for the event when it was in North America in 2022 and 2023, but they go to London, charge a premium for seats and sell the place out.
Aew haven't reached 50K ticket sales though this time around. So yes. 81K was a surprise. All In is a month away and they're lurking at around 45K sales.

AEW didn't sell 81,000 tickets. They only sold 50,000! The numbers they told were 54,000 bought. Them rest were given away. I know cause I got 30 of them for FREE!!!

I don't think bret hart will ever get a break. Vince mcmahon was his father figure, made amends after a long time, and now has to deal with vince with these allegations, and the guilt of having defended vince against the sexual assault allegations brought to vince many years ago, which bret defended and now feels like a fool and ashamed.
I see ROH now as more parallel to NXT and I think that works for the most part. AEW has 3 "main roster" shows as is. If they decide to elevate ROH to a third brand situation, I think it would need to replace Rampage altogether. Regardless, the biggest issue is that there is currently no distinction between AEWs main shows other than we know that all of the major stuff happens on Dynamite, then Collision has some important things, to Rampage being mostly filler. There needs to be a more defined identity for each show. Maybe that means a roster split. The debut of Collision felt like that initially until the Punk fiasco.
Honestly, seeing Lethal and Castle jobbing so hard breaks my heart a little. Khan is a schmoe in my stupid opinion. Whoever is booking there needs to stop. It's predictable to the point of being painful to watch sometimes. I will never forgive Jarret losing to Hangman after getting literally everyone behind him. I mean, even Kofi got the belt after the crowd demanded it in WWE.
I think AEW should make ROH into AEWs version of NXT... but because he wants to be in control of everything he's ego isn't letting it be as big as it can
I’m not the biggest AEW fan but I will say I don’t mind ROH being rebranded as AEW presents ROH as long as it replaces the Friday show… Not Collision on Saturday but the Friday one
Getting rid of Ring of Honor would be a genius idea. It's no different than the bastardized version of ECW that WWE ran years ago. It will allow focus on one brand as well.

Mcmahon is playing dirty and smart. Hes saying, "Yes, you have documents, but are they legitimate? Also if it is, why is so difficult for you to get them?" If Mcmahon gets this motion, he can probably get that not used in court and any further reference from her about the documents could put her in contempt of court.
If Beth Phoenix is now a free agent, then does she still have a legends contract with WWE or is that the contract that has apparently expired? Also, if RoH & AEW does merge, then i wonder what the plans are, although I was hoping that TK could keep both AEW & RoH completely separate.
Tk should absolutely brand ROH as an AEW product. Just like nxt is “WWE NXT” How much harder would it be for NXT to get TV deals if it had no brand tie to WWE? People just clearly have no business mind, or want a reason to hate AEW
Merge it, might as well delete it. Same thing as WWE owning WCW but doing nothing with it. But worse because there going to use what name recognition it does have to push there development players. It would be like if NXT was actually called WWE's WCW.

I don't feel it would be sacrilegious to rebrand ROH, I would find it useless. You have the chance to re-do the Invasion storyline waaaaaaay better (That can End with, for Example, ROH taking over Collision and keeping it at its flag show), why would You rebrand the thing then?

Tony khan doesn't need to merge AEW and ROH just get rid of ROH or make it a developmental system for AEW that could work instead of merging it Beth Phoenix in AEW I like that idea and also hate it because that pushes the agenda of AEW signing anybody that had name value in WWE but this might eork since adam copeland is in AEW and beth does the intro to Edge's theme AEW can sell out arenas in the UK and they can't in the US AEW still has problems mainly the awful commentary Excalibur isn't equipped to do play-by-play commentary he and tony Schiavone bring the show down it'll be better off without them if AEW wants to be taken seriously they're terrible on commentary.
I don't know about getting rid, but I do think TK should keep both AEW & RoH completely separate. Like, have different rosters & a different creative team. If possible, bring back people who've previously worked on Ring of Honor backstage or at least have people who's very familiar with the promotion work backstage.
@Jamieb1994 that's an even better idea I was thinking about AEW making ROH a developmental system because AEW really doesn't have one maybe ROH becomes their version of NXT with call ups to AEW and sending people to ROH but I like your idea better.
