@@humblehombre9904 At 4 years old Vince and Sharise's daughter named Skylar was taken to the hospital because she was in pain. Initially they believed it to be appendicitis. Unfortunately, they soon found out that she had a cancerous tumor in or around her abdomen. She had multiple operations, I'm not sure how many, in order to remove the tumor. Unfortunately, the medical professionals were not able to completely remove the the tumor because it spread so quickly throughout her little body. She sadly passed away at the age of 4. To briefly put it into perspective. The doctor's found the tumor when she was 4 years old and she passed away before turning 5 years old. Such a horrible tragedy. There is a show called Celebrity Ghost Stories where celebs talk about encounters that they have had with those whom have passed. Vince was on an episode and he spoke about Skylar visiting him 2 or 3 nights in a row. He said that they played games and talked to one another. Then on the last night she said I won't be able to come visit you anymore. Something along those lines. After that he never saw her again. But he did say it was therapeutic. He got to see her and say goodbye (though as a spirit) when she was healthy and strong. Anyone can look up the show and watch it for themselves.
"No one sings like Vince". That was one of the quotes I remember Nikki Sixx saying. I really liked Vince's solo album and you see Motley didn't get too far without Vince.
6th grade Halloween 1986 dressed as Vince! Lol - was the last year I ever did a trick or treat! - was a huge Crue fan - still listen to old school Crue! Merry go round & round, too fast for live, 10 seconds to love! Good times! Peace out! ✌️
I saw the Crue when I was 14, Theater tour and Vince changed my world and when the band split from him it hurt me seriously. To me he was and is the coolest rock star ever. Thank you Vince Neil!
It's a shame where he's at physically today. I'm so hoping he can get back into shape. He seems like a genuinely nice guy and I'm really hating the horrible comments about his weight on other videos :(
@@Protometal66 me too, honestly. hes getting back in shape, albeit slowly but i know he's gonna get there. i just think its horrible how his "fans" always shit talk about his weight, when they should probably take a look in the mirror
I love seeing how nice and polite he is to his fans. I know he’s on an interview and it’s the typical thing to do, but it comes off way more genuine here, from Vince. You can tell he was hurting at the time though. I think the interviewer was good, she was very accommodating to the interview, and no questions were pushy.
People have said over the years he's actually a really nice guy you always one of my friends who lived in California for a while had a chance to know him a little bit said he's just a nice guy from a good family actually
They thought about it and actually saw that they wouldn't be shit without Vince singing in the band. Motley Crue would never sell 150k albums much less millions without that dude. Real talk!
Vince was a big reason why motley was so successful , and the other three just disregarded him , then soon as the album flopped they got him straight back
His first album Exposed is freaking Amazing!! Just don’t know Why the hell he never played that album live. It was rare if he did. That’s one of my top 10 albums of all time.
Totally agree. This is a killer album, the guitars, drums, vocals... its just amazing. Part of my teenage years soundtrack and everytime I listen to it, it gives me chills haha rock on!
@@playyuh yeah 92 was probably the last full year of still being part of the '80s. I'm old enough to have been alive then . I was 22 and 92. I saw how things were changing just listening to the record watching what was going on with MTV some of the grind stuff getting big by 93 kind of I guess the middle it was now a different decade. But then again things change from the grunge around 96 97
Wow?? Can’t judge a book by its cover. Always thought Vince was a tool? Totally wrong. Sounds like a generally good n decent guy. This is the best thing I’ve seen on You Tube in a very long time.
I watched this when it aired live. I had it recorded and haven’t seen it in years since I no longer have my videotapes from MTV. I was a diehard Crüe fan and it absolutely gutted me when the news came on MTV that Vince was no longer in the band. Vince was so nice and really took the high road despite probably still being in shock. It’s crazy the timing of their firing of Vince-Mötley didn’t realize that the music world wouldn’t be the same when they finally got around to releasing their record with Corabi (I love that album but feel it wasn’t Mötley Crüe).
That solo song Vince did for Enceno Man sounded like Motley Crue much more than the album the Crue did without Vince. I can’t even recall a song from that album with Corabi.
I don't blame you I'm from that generation. It makes me so sad today that it sucks it so lame and I feel bad for the younger people that have such a boring time
Weird, "kind of transition", time in the history of the music industry. Things went from Elvis, Beatles & Stones, Led Zeppelin & Sabbath, U2 & GnR, Pearl Jam & Green Day, to Who? & Who?. When's the last time someone said "hey I heard this new band on the radio today"? "Radio, what's that?".

I'm a big Crue fan and that was an awful time. Motley Crue made it big because of the sound they made together, and without Vince they were "just another band". Honestly, Motley is the luckiest band alive, because talent-wise they were seriously lacking, but they did the right things at the right time, and that's why they made it, not because they were so talented. I was a hard core Crue fan, and when Vince left I was so disgusted with all of them and completely lost interest in Motley Crue.
Don't agree totally, perhaps not the most talented... But - Tommy great drummer, Mick great guitarist, Nikki great songwriter... Then Vince kind og unique voice and showman -> not only luck

Motley meets Metallica?? Imagine if they did a tour with Metallica like how they did with Guns N Roses if Vince stayed and they went in the direction he wanted to go in
Awh man he seemed so happy even after he got fired, I’m glad motley Crües self tilted Album is the worst because they really tried to make a self titled album as they kicked out the front man! I’m glad they got back together but it’s sad it happened after his daughter died and when they realised they couldn’t make money without Vince. And man when he said Motley meets Metallica it made me so happy because he never had a problem with Metallica it was more Nikki and Tommy. Vince imo has always been a kind hearted legend ❤
Stand up man judging by this interview. He gave the Crue more respect than they had the courtesy to give him. And this is coming from a Nikki Sixxaholic.
@Rouge she probably fucked every Rockstar that she interviewed with that " engaging personality". You must be a boomer to take a joke that seriously you clown.
@Rouge why are you so defensive? Get off the internet if you can't take it. It not my problem you have a crush on her. Saying she's a " good girl" is like saying Ellen is. And you're arguing like a boomer so I assumed. Maybe you're just a Karen or the male version of it. Can't let people have fun.
Calm down people. They were just good friends dating all the way back from the early to mid 80's when the Crue was young and awesome. Both had their own spouses at that point.

Given his looks how the hell did he let him self go that damn bad? Not to bring up all his personal problems. He is an entertainer and has an obligation to stay in shape for paying fans. Look up Robin Zander from cheap trick. Case closed.
Honestly as a crue fan you probably shouldn't be saying that . I agree Vince needs to get himself back in shape probably mentally as well. But he's always been a good dude he's always been a bit of an emotional guy and who knows what's bothering him I mean I'm sure he hears about everyone saying he's overweight and all that. Who knows
Like I said it's hard to see Vince that way and he just doesn't seem to be himself an interviews either. Unfortunately some people get out of shape I mean look at Mike Reno from loverboy he's been overweight for a long time he's still belts out the songs. I just think we don't like to see our former Rock hero's age and some of them do it by gaining weight. I watch Def Leppard now and Joe can't sing the way he used to and unlike Phil he doesn't work out he's not in great shape. Then let's go to Brian Johnson he kind of looks the same just a little bit older still sounds the same still does the same thing
@@WhatsCookingTime I am a fan I’ve seen motley Crue 12 to 13 times either he puts on a good show or he puts out a bad show but but in the recent past. All bad. I am embarrassed for him. The band is most likely embarrassed as well. Especially mick. Who performs at top level every show despite his health issues.
It was a style back then, I used to do that to my hair, I had different lengths in my bangs, really long and some shorter ones. I’d use a partial ponytail, like Vince here, to hold my longer bangs outta my face.
I’m a bit bit bumed !! stop it, man, you were fucked off back then it was betrayal there was a lot of emotional issues that needed addressing you're all out of control, back then and IM glad if that is to be believed and Nikki IX pulled you guys altogether as should have been. bless the piper..
I always thought that Six totally fucked up big time here: MC finally got a #1 album, most successful tour, they were at the top! So they fire Vince and look what happened- that shitty album went straight to the 2:99 rack. Aerosmith would have never done this stupid shit. Imagine how great MC would have been if they continued straight after Dr F ... They would have been legends. After this firing they never musically got back on track therefore are NOT legends.
I do think motley Crue is legendary they retain that status by their comeback later however what you're saying could be described as what happened to Foreigner. They were huge hard rocking and then all the sudden the rest of the guys other than Lou wanted to go this soft rock route. Lou Graham wanted nothing to do with it.. he had a few big solo heads but as for Foreigner they had nothing after that
Vince might not sound like a dying Cow if his ass was in a nice recliner in the front and center of the stage. I'm thinking if he didn't have to exert any of energy, he might be able to sing a bit better.
