Dont be sad about the ending. Thats the thing about open endings. You can make it whatever you want it to be. IMO they will meet again because Vincenzo was very firm about returning to her. So yeah Im holding on to that.

it's not a sad ending at all. Idk why people on twitter kept saying it was lol. They are literally soulmates. They've been through so much together... there is no way they will let each other go. Vincenzo's last glance to CY was sad of course cause he had to leave since it's not safe for him in SK. But the writer included the whole "I saved a bed for you in my own person island" scene for a reason. Its foreshadowing CY will go and see him and since they've already confessed to each other, they're already a couple. Tbh I was sad reading all these theories but I rewatched the finale and my gut feeling is it's not a sad ending for chacenzo whatsoever. It's the exact opposite.... it's just unfortunately they can't be together at the present moment cause of some issues that aren't resolved. Plus Mr.Ahn has literally been pulling tricks for Vincenzo the whole season... he has contacts who could've helped Vincenzo stay in Korea with no problem but I guess the writer wanted it to be more of an open ending. Sorry for the essay but don't be depressed:( It's definitely a happy ending for the both of them!!
