The "Oh it's the" has the same annotation as "A-lex-a" so it might have autocompleted "throat" to " turn on."

So I just said "oh it's the throat enemy" just like Vinny did to test it and my alexa turned on. There must be something about this phrase that makes it turn on. Edit: After checking the audio activity it said "This audio was not intended for alexa" and now it doesn't wake up when I say that phrase. Weird.

The way Vinny said it and how it's echoing from the other room, I can see how it thought Alexa. He said "oh it's the throat enemy" where "oh it's the" sounds vaguely like Alexa. And I guess it just omitted throat, and of course enemy was the trigger for the song

"Oh its the..." "Alexa..." "throat..." "turn on..." "enemy." "Enemy." That's how it vaguely sounds to me (not the Throat/Turn On thing, but I assume that's how it turned out.) hearing the playback, so maybe that's where Alexa got confused, just a guess.

I swear, this is what happens to me with Siri. Whenever I say “space area,” it triggers Siri on my phone. Because of how the phrase sounded, it sounds similar to “hey Siri.” It didn’t click with me, until I say the phrase 10x fast, slow it down, and took a listen to the vowels I’m speaking that makes it sound like said phrase to turn on Siri. 💀

Same thing happened when I used to play FPSes and would occasionally rage with *"ARE YOU SERIOUS?!"* She'd answer with some form of "yes" every time, too. So that's just one of the reasons I don't play FPSes competitively anymore.
