The reason I find the Captain Lou Mario drugs commercial so funny is that he's wearing a normal ass shirt. They just gave him the Mario hat to film that.
I HATE people that HATE other people. The comment I respond to did not spread HATE. That is good. BUT! I get a lot of HATE comments on my amazing videos and I HATE it. Please don't start spreading HATE. Do I have to HATE you too, dear ev
@@tannerbass7146 Ah, I see the problem. In software development, valves tend to part of systems-level programming languages, the stuff that makes operating systems and such, as you need fine control of electrons. The nozzles used in game engines, meanwhile, have adjustment rings, allowing you to easily and precisely control the graphics and audio jets to get the desired game behaviour without going too close to the bare hardware. Only Valve themselves use a game engine that utilizes valves, designed to control the 'electron sauce' that gave their engine its name.
I wish I still had that thing. I haven't checked but I'm pretty sure they're going for ridiculous prices on ebay these days. I remember getting one back then and then this commercial came one and my mom was like "My kids aren't that dumb that they would try to eat it would they?" apparently she was right
YTP were an early part of my childhood. Everytime I remember them I feel intense embarrassment, and longing for a time where I didn't have to pay bills and taxes.
And you FIND Geoffrey And you FIND Geoffrey And you FIND Geoffrey And you FIND Geoffrey And you FIND Geoffrey And you FIND Geoffrey And you FIND Geoffrey And you FIND Geoffrey
One of my favourite things about Freddie Freaker is that actually, all that happened if you called the number was that you would get a weird voice telling corny jokes. So despite all the memes and his arguably disturbing appearance, Freddie Freaker is ultimately harmless and just wants to make your party more fun!
@@newfleshrecords According to what I found, that particular version was only introduced on 1994. Before that, they were just inflatable mascot balloons.
The absolute madness of the Namco ads....culminating in the Dutch-angle shot of the Japanese subtitle "I'm aroused!" was absolutely the highlight of that particular stream. Vinny pausing...and proposing someone make a thumbnail card....and it BECOMING the thumbnail on Full Sauce was a series of laugh fits I won't soon forget. Truly a beautiful nostalgia stream dream.
Fun fact: at 4:24, James is played by Tony nominated actor Andrew Rannels, known for his roles in The Book of Mormon and Falsettos. He also voiced in Big Mouth and Invincible, and temporarily replaced Jonathan Groff in the original broadway run of Hamilton back in 2015
Having watched some old G4 shows during quarantine and seeing a TON of these adverts for video game colleges left in, I wouldn't be surprised if they all went belly up and ended up being complete scams. Thanks for the edit Titania, great job!
This was a short lived fan favorite stream. I loved it because of the craptacular AI generated YTP and if he does it again, I hope he sees more weird Japanese commercials.
I did send him a pack of commercials, but it was right at the end (just before the last one he did) when I think he got fed up with the segment unfortunately, found some really great ones from various countries including a Japanese one with Harrison Ford in it These were a few of my favourites ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-3uxC8IMo4V0.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_-qZv1IsEpQ.html
I've seen a lot of japanese commercials and boy, this is the first time I've seen the term "LSD flashback" used in one. More is good but I think that might be one of the weirdest just for it's americanisms lmao
I will admit, the stick bug into gentle breeze at 1:50 was pretty good. XD The only thing more surreal is seeing Channing Tatum in the Westwood College ad.
The editing on this video is top-notch (or whatever you want "top-notch" to mean). The program intro bumper, the "after these messages/back to the program" slides and... the shitty YTP+ poops (but I repeat myself) generated by AI, and all the classic game commercials thrown in with Vinny's commentary overlaid. This was an awesome video. And it's also creepy how the editor made one of the Pokémon Burger King commercials (with the Pokéball toys) cut DIRECTLY to the PSA by Burger King notifying us about the Pokéball recall due to suffocations.
GOD I remember being obsessed with the Pokémon Live show as a kid, though I never saw it, there was a website that had all the sheet music for the songs (yes, it was a Pokémon Musical, I'm 100% serious here), it had pictures, mini games and a few clips. There was a song of Misty secretly confessing her love for Ash with Mew flying around in the background, it revealed how Giovanni was Ash's father, and I'll die on the hill of saying "The Best at Being The Worst" is the best song in the whole thing, because whoever they got to play Jessie and James actually put in their all for it. I even remember they had the whole screenplay of it at one point, and I still remember a few scenes from it. So seeing that ad for it in this just reignited so much crazy nostalgia for me that I needed to make sure I wasn't the only one who remembers this. Please let me know if you ever actually saw the show, and if it's just as insane as I remember it being, even though I've never seen the actual show live.
Andrew Rannells (the guy who played the lead on The Book of Mormon musical and also the original 4Kids dub voice of Len in Shaman King) played James and every now and then he’s asked about it in an interview and says that everyone who worked on it has a pact to never talk about it xD
I went to go see it live in New York City if I recall correctly. I don't remember anything about it other than the actor who played James went hard in the paint at acting.
Vinny seemed taken aback by the Pokemon live event. Yes it's real and yes it's official (I think nintendo/gamefreak had basically nothing to do with it) If I recall correctly, following it's initial viewing and a few follow-up performances the thing just disappeared. Lost Media if you will. I think recently SOME stuff has resurfaced, but as far as I know it's still mostly forgotten. If you're wondering about the quality, surprise surprise it's hot garbage.
when I woke up this morning I didn't expect to see a Zapruder Film-esque breakdown of why a rat fucking a Game Boy Micro wouldn't move a clipboard set above it I'm a changed man.
@@hussein25580 From the video, it sounds like it wants to serve healthy stuff to kids and not unhealthy foods cause the mascot said "I'm tired of candy, gum etc"
Super radical 90's Burger King commercial! Burger King recall ad involving a kid who suffocated Super radical 90's Burger King commercial! That mood whiplash was something else
These remind me of the Nostalgia Critic commercial commentary videos. Als surprised Vinny was not aware of Pokemon Live, which was a real thing and was as wild as you can imagine.
My older brother told me about the discontinued Burger King poke balls when I was a kid holy shit. That commercial just struck a memory mine and now I can’t stop reminiscing.
