kingdom and vagabond both sound very interesting to me. Id have to check it out before showing it to the girls as we have different sensibilities but ill def take a look at the mangas. I was very sad to hear about Miura's passing. I'm not sure if the assistants will continue with it or not but either way its a devastating loss for the art form. Unfortunately im not sure berzerk is something i can show to the girls lol

Demon slayer is just generic action shounen show with good animation.. its entertaining but thats it.. Meanwhile Vinland saga is a masterpiece with top tier storytelling and complexity character writing such as askeladd Its one the best seinen manga along with berserk,vagabond and kingdom So yeah vinland saga all the way 😀

good question , hmmm. Now ill preface this by saying only 2 of the three of us has seen it that being me (the guy) and Rose. Niquey hasn't seen it and we actually were debating doing a reaction for it today. So for me i would say i would say i think they both do alot of things near perfectly , Animation, music, art ect. However where i would put vinland in S tier i would put Demon slayer as A+ atm. The reason is mainly due to the villain. I am someone who really values understanding why someone does what they do. Its not to say there isn't a backstory on the main villain in demon slayer its just i haven't seen it yet and atm it seems a bit generic as in evil. I like that in Vinland Saga everyone , even the most murderous cruel people have reasons for why they do what they do or why they are the way they are. It could be the way they were raise or maybe the goal they are trying to achieve is just that noble. It was the recurring theme of the show to understand why humans are the way they are.There is never someone who does bad things simply because they are by nature bad. Dont get me wrong Demons in demon slayer tend to be tragic creatures as the main protaganist put it, but Muzen doesn't do enough to stand out to me as more than just a generic big bad. Kind of like Ozai in Avatar , fantastic show and intimidating and impressive villain but lacked for depth. Other than that i love the themes of determination and struggle that the show puts on. Not to mention how well it does hype and handle atmosphere. I do love demon slayer but i think it loses out if only by a bit to vinland for me. Again though , it could just be i need to see more material out of demon slayer to see why Muzen is the way he is.

@@ReactCity that’s what people don’t seem to understand about Vinland Saga. I can’t really remember a recent anime where I was more captivated by the villain than the main character. For only 24 episode this show did an outstanding job to set the tone for the rest of the seasons. It sucks Vinland saga doesn’t really get the love it deserves. Definitely should have won anime of the year in my opinion.
