Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa - Aaromale Tamil Lyric | A.R. Rahman 

This song was composed in Los Angels with a new guitar player. Recorded with lyricist Kaithapram and singer Alphonse later. Rahman suggested to write lyrics in Malayalam. ‘Swasthi swasthi’ part was recorded initially. ARR wanted a hook word for the song. After a long discussion about various malayalam words, Kaithapram suggested this rare and unfamiliar word Aromale.

I do not speak Tamil. At all. This song is from a movie that was released in 2010 (I did a wiki search for the movie name). I wonder why I have not heard about this song before. I can not understand why such awesomeness is hidden from general public for so long. Even now I came to know about it because I like listening to Tamil songs "Innum konjum nerum" "Nenjukkul Peidhimum". Because I listen to Tamil songs a channel got recommended to me where three guys act out the recording studio. From their shorts I came across this song and found it to be incredible. It is rock. No doubt about that. But also has lots of emotions in it. I am saying this without understanding a single word of lyrics. My observation is based on the intonations of the singer. I wonder how many such gems are hidden across culture. I do not know about them because they never got mainstream popularity. The song "Nada Nada" by Avial in Malayalam ; "Chimb Bijlele" by Shankar Mahadevan in "Marathi ; :Jile le jile le" in Asamese; "Copa DE Europa" by Los Planetas in Spanish; "Cvit od kamena" by Dalmatino in Croatian. So much awesomeness.
