Somebody needs to make a new one of these. He's had a bunch of great verses since this was posted. I was in Thailand on tbe Island of Koh Phi Phi. I walked past a small bar with a Jamaican flag. Usually bars with that flag sell weed and that's kinda of a code. There is usually one in every neighborhood this was before legalization, that is allowed to sell but anyway the bar area here was open and facing the street and as I walked by a guy from an eastern European country that I forget was sitting at the bar hitting a bong with the owner. Honestly Vinnie's style grew and became smoother after VBD. It also became much more educational vs. confrontational/conspiratorial of the earlier songs. If you ask me, this is a phenomenal mix that gives some of the best verses spit by one of the most underrated MCs in the game.
Am i an asshole bc i want to hear Vinnie but not anybody else he raps with? Not saying they aint wordsmiths without parellel but Vinnie has that fucking raw ass flow and voice - he out matches almost anybody he gets on with except maybe when hes teamed up in HMK with Ill Bill - that's the one. Can you make a new one of these with all his new feats?
That's tough, especially considering I mostly just listen to his solo albums. Cheesesteaks and Brick Wall might be my personal favorites. But that 2nd verse on Cheesesteaks is mediocre to me. And that's saying a lot because he pretty much kills everything. But that beat and that first verse is just sick.
