I always been a fan of of Paz I remember he actually answered me in a email about beats I sent him. Although I knew he wouldn’t use them because it was way out there he said he like them and keep sending him beats. That was a cool and inspirational for me. See most people don’t realize even if a rapper don’t use your beat it could have inspired them for a song that they later used a different beat. Music is life
From 17:30 to 18:33, when William Meek and Richard Jones began freestyle over the beat and Vinnie was talking about how life synchronystically made things the way things have become, it sounded so damn beautiful that I almost cried.
Vinniepaz is continually soundbreaking were glad to hear him and not letting the manner fade...props to all the real hip hoppers,..are there that many under ground breath takers?..keep rocking it!
Surprised I’m just coming across this mini documentary now but so glad I did. Adds a lot more depth to an already great video and song. Sometimes I wish I could go back and live through the uprise of Jedi and AOTP for the first time again. I’m from Philly so when all their shit was popping off and they were touring pretty regularly, me and all the peeps I ran with were all just as invested in this music. We ended up at ALOT of epic shows and bar spots where there were always surprise visits leading to a couple song set or whatever. Those times are some of my favorite memories and moments. Collectively it was probably the best time for underground hip hop. 🎶🔊👍
Been rocking with vinnie for 20 plus been a fan of your work for years great collab the whole thing came together beautifully. Shout out to tony luke the legend
Thank God for skateboarding. I was born in 1976 and got my first board when I was 10 from the original fairman’s in prospect park of course. Although I’m 46 now and haven’t skated in years I attribute EVERYTHING, I mean EVERYTHING I’m into, every single friend I have and the person it helped me become. Peace to everyone I ran with and all my influences from the 90s golden era. This was an awesome vid. ✌️
