dude the rhyme scheme Vinnie used throught this song is fucking sick, he basically used ONE rhyming scheme throughout the whole song, in this day and age i love it when MCs make an effort in there raps
It's definitely the easiest and quickest way to write a song, but he definitely pulled it off well. His personal style made up for his lack of effort with the poetry. Some people are just MC's first and poets second.
Are we just going to ignore the fact that it was a 2-syllable rhyme with here/there repeated like 30 times? Not that impressive tbf. The track is dope though.
I disagree with you dudes saying it's the most simple way to write. He sticks to the narrative the whole time limiting what he can say with this rhyme scheme. Like try to make a song this dope and rhyme every rhyme with cross hair and tell a story.

I agree he's definitely amongst the greatest, but i can't rule out others such as: Ill Bill, Canibus, Immortal Technique, AOTP (particularly as a group, but some members stand out), DMX (more specifically older albums), Eminem (again, older albums), R.A.... can't name em all but those stand out to me. There's certainly a small, select group who are on the same planet👨🏽🚀🤙🏽

The Psycho-Social, Biological, Chemical, and Electro-Magnetic Manipulation of Human Consciousness is probably one of the best albums in hip hop, on some real shit. That joint was *light-years* ahead of it's time.
