I don't believe her at all. If I was terrified and had the person I was afraid of locked in a suitcase. I would've called the cops, not went upstairs to sleep.
No, guilty period! They need to get on with this trial already. Every sidebar has been addressed multiple times already. I see this in the jury’s hands and a verdict tomorrow. No time but formalities for them to reach a guilty verdict.
I don’t believe a lot of what she is saying. I come from a very violent DV household. I grew up in it. There is no way she would go to sleep with him in there, out or PURE FEAR that he would get out and kill her, or be worse than any abuse before. I believe she sat there until he died- then plotted for hours how she would tell her story and then call police
Does anyone know how he got in the suitcase to begin with? She had 8 or 9 lawyers who did not want to use and seems more concerned with snacks than the fact that she is responsible for someones death. She comes across as fake and dishonest since this case started!Sarah's claim of D.V. is a slap in the face to every person who are truly victims!
I love this judge, we need more judge like this judge greatly appreciate a real law biden judge for once ,he's real to the point and one of the best judge I have ever seen,
This is only my opinion that night she was the abuser.. I think she said that it all atopped (I think she meant he quit talking and he quit fighting trying to get out after she hit him with a bat .. I think what she meant when she said that it stopped is that he had passed away and that’s why she could go to bed because if she still felt like he could still get out, she would’ve gotten the bat out of the house, put it in her car, locked it up. She would’ve driven off to any place Brian‘s, call the police. I think he was actually packing to leave. He had had enough and she lost it. I think he was in a suitcase when it was thrown down the staircase and she beat him with a bat when he attempted to get out so he could get some oxygen.
At this point I am so over the defense atty in his whining over the psychiatrist for the rebuttal. He's going on and on, arguing sooo much with the judge, I have to keep changing the channel. It's so aggravating. I liked Atty Owens as in I respect his demeanor, etc. Until today. He's just going round and round. This judge is incredibly patient. It's obvious he put all the weight in her defense on pushing that she was acting as a victim of BSS and even at the time of the suitcase evening she was acting in that mindset. Uh, no.
As I recall from when this first happened, she dared him that he couldn’t fit into it. But he did, so then she zipped him up in it and left him to die.
It's quite boring sorting through this unedited tape, making points about zippers. She was violently abused- he stabbed her leg, to the point that she had to go to the hospital. Neighbors testified that they saw bruises frequently and loud arguing. Once she got him in the suitcase, she had every right to fear what he was going to do to retaliate when he got out. Lets say she called the police, to have them let him out- the chance of him coming back for retribution were very good. He might even kill her- at that moment, under duress, she decided to leave him in there- for her own good. Did OJ kill Nicole? I believe he did- this is quite common in domestic abuse cases- she had every right to fear that outcome It was not a good decision, not the only option, but I believe it was for her own protection to leave him in the suitcase. Battered spouses are not rational- he has to take the blame for the climate of this relationship.
No i do not believe her it is on video the zipper is so telling (everyone struggles with it) she was caught in many lies I believe there was abuse on both sides I believe there was a lot of mutual combat.
