I honestly believe that some of these "replica" (counterfeit) guitars are not really intended to be played. They're wall hangers. Pure and simple. Aimed at fans to hang in their mancaves or music rooms and show off to friends. They often don't stand up to any scrutiny at all. Yours seems fixable and didn't sound too bad at all.

Years ago there was a site called Vintage Replica Guitars or something. They had one like he played on the videos. Pink with the sparkle V underneath. Really wanted one plus they had a Robbin Crosby Jackson explorer that I’ve always wanted. This was before the Chibson explosion.

not bad for a 200 to $350~ guitar shipped to you. not sure if you mention what you payed but it doesn't matter cus you can find ranges of all sorts of guitars. it sounds more like a lotto thing. you gamble whatever amount you want for whatever you want and hope for the best lol. i hope to get a bunch of explorer's.

If VV actually designed this model himself, well, that's at least something good to say about him. I mean, it's not for me, and it's nothing genius to go "hey, I'm VV, and there are V guitars, so, like double the V!", but it does look kinda nice from the front. The paint job looks wrong on this one, though, as the "bottom" V is supposed to have a darker (or completely different) color scheme to properly separate it from the other V.

I taked to ed Roman sales agent the other day starting price is 5000$ and 2 year wait there was a real ed roman on ebay that wasn't finished for 850$ im still in touch with him .this is a knock off of a azg guitar roman did something similar and this is a knock of of the paint job but im ready to get mine i had them make my neck super flat and thin but rest is basically the same the sales agent said she tell factory to take pride in their work for my build and some stuff they did by the pictures they sent me worst thing was where the vv meets on body if they got that right i be a happy man but i haven't got to see and play

Is this a knockoff of an Ed Roman guitar? Because Roman is a legit company that make incredible custom guitars. I've had one. Ed Roman might have been a shady dude..but his custom guitars were incredible...and still are..as his shop continued after he died.

probably would of been better if it was a bolt on neck then you could of switched it out and probably be a bit better.

That's a definite wall hanger as a playable guitar no ,My Glarry burning fire is better than that guitar mine was playable out of the box no issues like your Vinne Vincent guitar.

Vinnie was a Great player. Sadly he lost his mind and soon after his ability too play. The last 20 years VV has been in some sort of very bizarre state of being though. Not sure if he was/is transitioning or just plain lost the remaining marbles. I remember thinking to myself when I saw him live with KISS is that he was too shreddy a player for KISS though as his speed shred didnt exactly gel with the basic Rock KISS was known for. I think I remember him playing a solo spot for 15 minutes straight and Gene had too come on stage and tow him in. Always dug his Jacksons but they are insanely priced if you can find them.

Very high end pickups not much mix range and lows

Maybe you'll be able to save that guitar with a professional setup by a luthier who knows what he's doing. You know, like re-dress the fret wire, adjust the intonation / truss rod, new pickups, go over the wiring, replace the knock-off bridge with a real Floyd Rose, etc. Then again, a setup may cost you more than the guitar is worth. I hope you didn't get ripped off buying this piece of junk.

I am truly sorry to see this. I hope that you didn't pay a lot for it. Unfortunately with these knockoff "replica" copy guitars, they are hit and miss. As a long time tech, I can tell you that it can be fixed, IF, it was built properly. Meaning if everything is put in the right spot etc. I've seen horror stories with these type of things where the bridge isn't in the right spot, neck misaligned etc. As far as the frets, they can be reseated, and hopefully the guitar can be set up properly. It's one of those situations where how much do you want to spend to make it right. At least it looks cool for displaying at the very least, and on my end it didn't sound that bad either. Best of luck with it.

Damn I’ve seen plenty of Chinese cheap guitars that are 10X better made than this. These people just give a F#@K.

Given the overall improved quality of Chinese knockoffs compared to how bad they used to be the fact you got such a piece of junk is really sad. Hope you didn't pay more than $100.
