Instead of keep looking to his past with KISS, Vinnie should have focused more on his own career without them.

This month, it will be six years since Vinnie's "comeback"....and still nothing. It's too bad that he didn't take that energy (into suing KISS) and try to create/release some new music. I believe he suffers from mental illness.

Vinnie was a great collaborator to Gene and Paul, he has his merits on his own as a songwriter and guitar player when self edited but if you see the transcripts from the various suits it is clear that Vinnie doesn't have too much of a claim to stand on and has his suits dismissed regularly when he fails to comply with the courts demands for things like valid membership to a musicians association or a handwriting analysis when he alleged documents were forged. I thank him for the music and the memories but he needs an intervention.

He’s a mental case, that’s why he keeps suing. VV was a jerk when he was in Kiss. Now, he’s looking for a payday.

I love the VINNIE VINCENT/ERIC CAR era! that was a power house band. LICK IT UP!

I can tell you without hesitation that Vinnie isn't right in the head.

Vincent lost his mind right about the time he got the Kiss gig. For what ever reason he decided he was gonna go rouge and act as an independent writer/musician and insist Kiss accommodate him. I remember some interviews in Creem magazine where Vinnie went off on Gene and Paul for not allowing him too shine in Kiss and wouldnt let him have 20 minute guitar solo's. Frankly VV was one of the less interesting shredders of the 80's. Lots of Speed and Technicality but not very clean or tastefully employed. It's no surprise he is a Leper in the Rock and Metal community. Supposedly he stole,scammed and lied throughout much of his musical career.

Vinny Vincent, has a net worth of around 1 million. He wrote many songs that helped Kiss make a come back when they were having trouble selling tickets. He played 6 of the 9 songs on "Creatures Of The Night" and wrote 3 songs. hum 1/3 of the album. As for "Lick It Up" he's got co writes on 8 out of 10 songs. That's 80% of the album and played 100% of that album. On "Revenge" he wrote or co-wrote 3 of the 12 songs. so that's 1/4 of the album. Songs written and co written by Vinnie Vincent Mind you also happen to be huge fan favorites. Here's the list of songs that wouldn't have been possible without Vinnie Vincent 1. Killer 2. "All Hell's Breakin' Loose" 10. "A Million to One" 11. "And on the 8th Day" There's 80% of "Lick It Up" 12. "I Just Wanna" 13. "Heart Of Chrome" 14. "Unholy" Now there's 1/3 of "Revenge" Excluding his 1978' solo album. "Ace Frehley, as great as he was didn't ever write 1/3 of any Kiss album. And probably never wrote 80% of any solo album. If he has then it sure never sold as much as those three albums that featured "Vinnie Vincent" "I'm personally not a fan of his guitar, solo's but there's no denying his importance to Kiss and how great his songs are. Yes folks he was a talented Rock star...Those days are LONG behind him. Now he is just a pain in the butt.

i'm just upset that bruce wasn't the first replacement to be brought in and given his own makeup design at the time. that era of KISS suited both KISS and bruce so well. it never worked with vinnie, it was never going to, a very talented player and songwriter, paul & gene should of kept him as a co-writer and nothing more. if things had of worked earlier for bruce too i bet my bottom dollar he would of replaced ace in 2002 also and perhaps eric singer would have been given the opportunity to create his own makeup design or put on the fox makeup in tribute of eric carr (which every KISS fan) would of respected if the band continued on with that line-up (you could even have unplugged sessions without the make-up or do one off small tours with no makeup and it would of been the revenge lineup)

I knew he was nutty back in VVI days. His wigs. His pink obsession and eating strawberries and cream during interviews. Weird. And his playing was excessive to the point of Guy-Mann-Dude ridiculousness.

And WHY he keeps LOSING!

In this modern society, if you want ownership of something, or if you want to work for a company, you have to sign the contrsct. Bonnie thought that by signing the contract, he would lose his righys. The opposite was true. The correct would have been a big piece of evidence.

Vinny sounds like a nice guy but he has me wondering “What is fair? His way?” It’s great he looks back fondly on his tenure with Kiss and says he loves them. I don’t know much about these lawsuits but obviously, he thinks he hasn’t been treated fairly, Yet he was dealing with 2 people (Gene and Paul) who’d been in Kiss a whole decade before he was. And of course, though Eric Carr was in the same position Vinny was, he knew it wouldn’t be wise to wage war with the founding members.

What is the publishing on a KISS song from that era even worth these days? Like 50 cents a week? KISS isn't really known for having these amazing songs. It's their shows that pay them big money. "Lick It Up?" Do people still listen to that song? Even if their legion of fans listen to that stuff on spotify or whatever, those apps rip off the musicians and pay next to nothing for it.

It's always been about Gene and Paul, except when it'd between those two. Then it's Gene or Paul in their eyes. I agree with protecting what's yours, but when theirs other members, whether original or not, then they should get their honest share while in the band. And by honest share, if there's three in the band, then it's split three ways. If five, then split 5 ways. Each is integral in that band being who they are.

Invasion is the best Kiss related album since Love Gun.

I certainly don’t think Paul and Gene are angels but as far as Vinny Vincent goes there’s something sketchy about that guy I don’t believe half of what he says.

If he had signed his contract he would have won everything. But he fucked around and acted like a creep. Reminds me of Peter and Ace...they had it all and pissed it away with visions of individual grandure and self absorbed ego. But now he is still spending money to get something he never would not just sign to get his part.

To the outsider, he blended in SO well, and I thought so too! He knew how to present himself onstage, in front of the (photo)camera, and all......He only didn't know how to act within a band environment...but also didn't want to learn how to.

The reason Vinny keeps suing Kiss is because he’s Broke. Vinny blew every opportunity he was given. With his recent appearances he drove to them with an old clunker car. Bald tire’s, dent’s a complete Rag of a vehicle. On his last gathering he had to ask for a jumpstart in order to leave. Finally the car started and as he was driving out of the parking lot one could hear a loud backfire and see a cloud of black smoke.

Want to see where Gene Simmons got his on stage persona? Search Sensational Alex Harvey Band Midnight Moses and watch the guitarist, Zal Cleminson. That's where he got the whiteface and the tongue sticking out bit. Zal wore makeup like a pantomime guy. Think about it, who wears whiteface makeup, black lipstick and black makeup designs around the eyes? You might thing "clowns wear whiteface and lipstick" but is it black lipstick and only right on the lips and do they stick their tongue out frequently? Gene straight up imitated Zal with only the modification of the eye makeup design changed to a bat wing form, Zal even had big curly hair like Gene did. That band was around right before and during the time Kiss formed and started wearing the makeup, it's obvious where they got the idea from. Gene never once said anything about imitating Zal, he pretended it was all their own original idea, and he got away with it because Zal's band was a British one and virtually unknown in America. BTW, Zal left that band in 1977 and joined the band Nazareth in 1979 and stopped wearing the mime makeup, so Gene's secret was safe after that, nobody ever figured it out.

Vinny is a self sabotager. Believe me I know. I'm guilty of it myself. It's a hard thing to get over. As much as I dislike Gene, he was right when he said Vinny was his own worst enemy.
