If I'm not mistaken, once they find a good hiding spot they're not coming out. They kinda just go ham on pests and avoid humans like the plague so its all good
Oh trust me I noticed it, I just didn't want too say it cuz I have already made that joke I way too many vids: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Rv_M7L4VrgA.html is just an example
@@MariaIsabellaZNN OBJECTION! The witness has answered the question in full, there is nothing more to add on. Mr. Pizzapasta saw the centipede, and then it was gone.
"from that night foward i was checking every inch of my bedroom before i went to sleep. i still think about it sometimes." that amount of fear is normal? oh thank god
Very nice work. The expressions were vivid and perfectly captured very particular moods, the timing and choreography were excellent, and the way your art style tied into it really helped bring everything together. Heck, even the "imput" typo seemed pretty in-character for chat. Overall, watching this felt like an entertaining experience.
@@cheesydraws 2:43 if you want the specific location; personally, I think it's fine leaving it as it is considering that this is Chat we're talking about. If Chat didn't make typos every now and then we probably wouldn't have phrases like "babby gaems" in the official Vinesauce lexicon.
I'm thankful that house centipedes in my country aren't as big. Well, we've got tons of brown recluse spiders so it evens out. But I'll never forget the night I had a big nightmare, woke up sweating and alarmed, and there were two centipedes crawling on my wall. It was the first time I saw one in my country too, like, I've seen backyard centipedes and they're small; a fourth of the size of these things. And I've never seen a house centipede again! So it's crazy to have had a rare nightmare right before my rare first encounter with these things. I swear they feed on your dreams, that's why they love bedrooms.
A centipede literally crawled on me just now in the dark while I was playing Hyrule Warriors and it scared the shit out of me. Luckily I managed to kill it since my reaction to that is to squeeze the f**k out of anything that is a bug or spider (which I know is a weird reaction, but it saves my sanity). I actually managed to pause the game too before doing it. As traumatic as that was, I’m lucky to not have had the same fate as Vinny.
Oh God, I have a phobia of these things caused by one of them crawling off of my pillow into my face as a kid. They're harmless but so damn disgusting. I think about it almost every night!
I love your artwork so much, Jesus Christ, dude! I thought you had only done the Bungee animation, but once I found you had even more lovely work, I died
The house centipede looks like a silverfish. I had to deal with those A LOT back in the mid-west. No way are silverfish as bad as house centipedes. Also, does Vinny use house bug repellent? They're effective
Silverfish have a teardrop shape and most are covered in silver scales (hence the name). House centipedes look like the creature in the vid, a long, creepy boi with spindly legs. People often confuse the two but once you know the differences it's easy to tell them apart. House centipedes are actually better than silverfish, because silverfish will eat your stuff (mostly books) if they can't find any crumbs, dead skin or mold to munch on. Meanwhile, house centipedes eat a wide range of other pests, including silverfish, and have no other impact on you other than looking unsettling. They are both found nearly anywhere humans exist, so you'll see them beyond the midwest.
There was One time at 2 am i was sitting on the toilet going to the bathroom before sleep. As i sat there i saw something move on the shower curtain i focused on it and of damn course it was a house centipede in the same room as me when im the most vulnerable.
I once not to long ago woke up to see a centipede on my roof and it started to move. It finally left my room at 4 in the morning. At that point I wasn't able to get back to sleep so I laid in bed and watched RU-vid.
The real name of those thing is “Scutigera” and I love to call them that because it makes them even scarier xD “I had a scutigera in my house” sounds like it’s some creature from Hell xD also, I had one of those once, and they ARE fast and very hard to kill. I remember using bug spray on one years ago and it took forever to die. I was so scared I slept with towels under my bedroom door for days because I was scared more would come and invade my bedroom xD (the one I found was in the living room)
That's just the genus name. The species name is _scutigera coleoptrata._ House centipede is the common name most normal people use outside of a scientific setting.
I'm so mad at myself that I just found this animation just today and not sooner. Cheesy really outdone yourself, this animation is fantastic! Those months that you spent on this was well worth! It came out great! :D Love to see what you'll do next if you are planning something... Also I see you are a man of culture for using Paper Mario TTYD soundtrack ;). Also! Also!!! Man I was NOT expecting that plot twist at the end! What an end!!
It's funny because about a week ago I saw a spider climbing on my window sill and I looked away for a second and when I looked back it was gone. I still haven't found it, I have no idea where is or where it went, and it's probably hidden in my pile of stuffed animals
I used to have a lot of earwigs around the house... and so, IN the house. Before going to bed I was going around and was killing them on sight. That was a real infestation. And one day, we stopped to see them.
Dude house centipedes are TERRIFYING, we have them sometimes where I live- they're gross and all but if you have them, it usually means you have a different infestation and they're eating those bugs-
