I always hear people say, “Creepypastas are unrealistic. If I were playing a clearly haunted game that wanted to make me suffer, I would just turn it off!” But soooooooo many videos like this show me very clearly that if demon ghosts that possess video games were real and they wanted to torture us forever, they could just appeal to our sense of frustration and stubbornness and keep us locked in their thrall for as long as they pleased.
i think i would play it out of spite, im not losing to a ghost that has to fight me through the medium of a game because they’re too much of a bitch to poltergeist bitchslap me like a real ghost

The first rule of making a difficult game like this is to keep the time between dying and starting again at or very near to 0. This running right, then having to skip some boring text cutscene every time is just a waste of everyones time.
This is such a disturbing display of addiction. The constant "this is my last one, i swear", the constant justification, the total connitive dissonance. He KNOWS his actions result in a net loss of enjoyment for him and chat, but he does it anyway, and claims "it's always been this way". He truly believes he is a slave to the game, and there is nothing he or anyone can do to convince him otherwise. Monstrously powerful.

But I do have a pet peeve toward people who blame their mistakes on "It's because I'm not using a controller" or whine whenever they have to use anything but a controller

Finally caught a Vinesauce stream. He played a shitty creepy Mario game for 45 minutes while he slowly lost his mind and made noises that should not be possible to be made with the human vocal chords. Great entertainer he is.
I truly think that for a second, chat actually got worried when he got killed that one time Vinny spent more than half an hour trying this until he let a cacophony of quacks and gurgles not heard since marble it up. God bless this man

It would be, because derivative copies was a name of the creepypasta game. There was so many haunted ones - sonic.exe and ben drowned are not that different from this formula.
Its not, its almost an exact 1:1 ripoff of the sonic pc port creepypasta/hack. Everything down to the background elements harming you, to the main character looking slightly off on the title screen, to the player 2 character having a different name than the actual character (alan/tails, lucas/luigi), to the fact that originally, this was literally called "mario pc port". Its such a blatant ripoff its shocking that its popular

It’s kinda funny how with this many haunted game creepypastas throughout the years, many have come and gone, and still the only really good and intriguing one that deserves to be remembered is still Godzilla NES. It’s not perfect but it’s so much more visually interesting and more fun to read

Honestly, I can't believe it was *this* particular Creepypasta/EXE that managed to get to Vinny, even if it wasn't in the way the creepypasta intended.
This game is all there is in life. Its so funny watching streamer Vinny stream Mario ‘85 every single day. Who needs to play any other game when you have Mario ‘85?

If at any point Vinny had realized that youre supposed to intentionally make him run past you to break his ankles, its likely he wouldnt have spent upwards of 40 minutes on this
@@SilentOnionit’s the fact that there’s always an upper path for you to go over him, he breaks blocks to make it easier to maneuver the course, and that he’s constantly faster than the player. Least it was my initial thoughts of action while watching this…
