It's regional stuff! Since Elisii has really nice click combos, to counter, I'm guessing most of the competitors had to learn some. Same as inward bass in the US- if you see ABC, literally no one had an answer to Vocodah's style!
Sick wildcard! I've been curious for a long time: is your throat bass like a vocalized chest bass but instead of vocalizing the 5th you vocalize the same note as the chest bass but 1 octave above? I'm probs wrong but anyways you bass texture sounds so dope :)
this is a great question! it's pretty much exactly how you described it; i do my throat bass in pretty much the exact same throat/mouth positioning as traditional vocalized chest bass, but i layer the note with the octave above it! it's very similar to how b-art and reeps one do their throat bass ✌🏽
