Vintage 1950's Made Simple Self Teaching Encyclopedia Set - 27 Volumes Hardcover
Set includes 27 volumes total. Vol 1-11, Vol 13-19, Vol 21-25 & Vol 27-29
Volume 12 and 20 are not included in this set.
Volumes 11, 14, 16 & 25 have damage to front and back covers, however, pages and binders are in tact and good legible condition.
NOTE: As per previous owner...These encyclopedias were used consistently for several years, were kept in their basement library for decades.
Also, they do have an old musty smell to them which does have more odor in some books than others. Not sure if humidity got to this set of encyclopedias. Please be advised if you have allergies or are sensitive to certain odors than this set may not be for you.
Books do not appear to have odor when closed on book shelf. Again these books have been sitting in homeowners basement library for decades. The basement was neat and tidy but the books have been sitting for years on a back shelf.
Overall, books are in legible condition despite their age and some cover damage. All Binders, with the exception of one, are in good condition.
They look beautiful on any book shelf and have much interesting information within them.
These encyclopedia's have been priced to sell due to age & conditions.
Perfect for those interested in contents, restoring old books or to decorate a book shelf with vintage books.
