We all remember the infamous "Wonderful World of Disney" on NBC, but this was a promo commercial for a less famous show on ABC. The show aired at the 7 pm Wednesday ABC nighttime slot, and was simply named "DISNEYLAND".

...and after 1958, Walt no longer had "control" over the various advertisers that ABC sold the show to {you think he LIKED seeing Woody Woodpecker in a Kellogg's commercial that appeared in February 1959?}. When the network moved "WALT DISNEY PRESENTS" to Sundays at 6:30pm(et)- just before "MAVERICK"- in the fall of 1960, that was the "contract breaker". Walt bought out ABC's interests in the Disneyland park, and signed a deal with NBC to move his series there in September 1961.
