The surveyor's tripod-turned-lamp is FABULOUS and it WAS A STEAL❣ I loved 😍 that Lion's Head pot, too❣ What kind of plant🪴gets the honor of living in it❓😁🥰👱♀️
@@LazyDIY-THRIFT 😄😁😆😅🤣😂🤪😜😝🤣🤣‼️ You CRACK ME UP‼️😘🥰 But, in all sincerity, get yourself a "ZZ" Plant! 🪴 That's short for its botanical name, "Zamioculcas Zamiifolia" and it is also commonly referred to as a "plant of steel", because even a person with "a black thumb" 👍can keep this baby alive 🖤‼️🤣 Truthfully, you only water💧it every couple of weeks - but I tried an experiment with my plant🪴and I deliberately did NOT water it for 2 months⁉️ Yes, you heard me correctly‼️🤣👍It wasn't even drooping❣It comes from drought-prone area in Africa - and it THRIVES in that hot sun outside‼️ Trust me, Tanya - the "ZZ" Plant thrives on NEGLECT❣🌿🙉 Just make sure it gets plenty of light, 😉😎🖤 and you will be fine. Lots of great 👍information online, including pictures, of this plant, too❣Let me know if you get yourself one, please, okay ⁉️
I’ve been loving your videos for alittle while now and I’m excited to be going thrifting for the first time this weekend at a large flea market in Canton, TX, it’s supposed to rain but I hope that just brings me good luck in finding some awesome stuff!
Hi Tanya🥰‼️You know I love 💜 your videos, and you may even remember that my parents were Antique Dealers for 45+ years. As you can imagine, I grew up going to thrift stores, garage and yard sales, auctions and flea markets. Wherever there were treasures🪙🕰🪑🪞🛌🚪🛏⚖🗝⏰ to be had, we would go. Having said that, I am appalled at the number of vendors at this market that don't seem to have a problem including FREE layers of CRUD, SCUM, GUNK, FILTH, GRIME, SCALE and just plain DIRT with your purchase‼️🙉😳🤮 I understand this market is primarily outdoors and wind will coat items with dust and dirt. What I don't understand is bringing in items "as found" with SLIME, SLUDGE and SMUT from YEARS of neglect still inside glassware, brass, ceramics, etc. I know FROM YEARS OF EXPERIENCE how long it takes to wash things up, helping my parents. Buying this way is STILL my lifestyle, Tanya, but never have I seen so many vendors that don't seem to take pride in their wares in the 1st place‼️They have to be at their "booth" or "spot" all day assisting customers anyway - so if they don't make the time to clean items before they are offered for sale - why not clean things up in the down time between customers if they aren't going to clean things up before the sale begins⁉️‼️❓No pride of ownership🤔🙈❓ I just don't "get it"🙊. Baby wipes are game-changers when there is no sink or running water‼️🤪😁 Your thoughts🤔❓
Oh, where do I start, Leslie? It definitely affects sales, as I'm sure you know 1st hand. It's fine with me if covered with dirt equals rock bottom prices, but that didn't seem to be the case here. Personally, I got the best deals from vendors with clean items. Not to mention, their inventory sells out fast. ❤️❤️❤️
@@LazyDIY-THRIFT Tanya, I think 🤔 that is why it bothered me so much...these vendors sold items full of dirt - AND they were NOT dirt cheap. Don't get me wrong; I'm no prima donna! I will dig in barns, at auctions, at thrift stores - you name it, I've done it, LOL! 😆 Maybe it was the lack of putting their best foot forward 🤔 or laissez-faire attitude toward people who fund their livelihood or side hustle that got to me the most. I am SO GRATEFUL 🙏 that you understood my feelings of angst were not directed at you❣🥰😘 You are such a TROOPER‼️😎 How are your ribs feeling?👩🍳
Love Denio's! Always worth it to walk around a check out all the great find's. Thank you for your videos! You should take a trip up this way (Grass Valley, CA) and Nevada City, CA. ❤️
Love waking up to one of your videos. I sit in bed when I wake up with your video and my Yorkshire tea...lol. Sunny California to chilly UK. So many treasures. 6:35 I love you for showing the milk glass! Kisses! Got to save the other half of the video to watch later...time to work on my website! Update! Just watched the last part, your haul was gorgeous...omg...that tripod lamp! Beautiful
Nice flea market! Love both of your purchases. Great price for lamp! I saw a mission style chair I wanted badly. Can't wait until you go back to this flea market.
Hello, a lot of interesting things ...! I am personally interested in China ceramic and porcelain items. In some of your video and video chairs made of wood Asian type, it will be possible to purchase something through you !? It is important to know how everything happens !? Thank..
That orange kitchen step stool chair is 1950s, I would have bought it on the spot because my grandma used to sit me on hers and feed me butter and honey sandwiches. The pattern on hers was sky blue with a silver and black starburst pattern. The upholstery was a crystal clear patent leather type of fabric, like used on restaurant booths. These chairs tucked in unused kitchen corners or in front of tall kitchen windows back in the days when kitchens had space for table and chairs. I miss my grandma. At 9:18
@@LazyDIY-THRIFT no im in san diego !!! Thank you ill try to google more frequently and stay on the lookout, if you have any tips to share im ready to hear them :)
Video Idea: are you able to request an after hours tour of an antique store so they can point and tell you about the type of estates they got their stuff from? Yes, “I like looking at stuff” love your tag line.
Right?! I can't wait to get into the Bay Area flea markets! Love your channel btw! We are so close. Can you contact me, pretty please? My email is at the very bottom of the description box ❤️❤️❤️

I’m definitely going to check this flea market out. My son lives in Rocklin so my next visit in a few months, I’ll bringing him along! Thanks for sharing!!
Mary, I've always had trouble getting myself to stop shopping, even when I'm exhausted 😂😂😂 It sounds like you would be the perfect thrifting buddy ❤️❤️❤️
Love this place! There were two items that would have come home with me that day. One were the two pedestal like cabinets, with the shelves inside. Would have purchased both of them and then second, I loved that white piano planter! Never saw anything like that. Also liked your lion head bowl you purchased. Thanks for letting me come along. Looking forward to next time.😊
