I like to see what they're charging. I have so much of everything that I hope to sell once we settle near Milan. I have things going back a hundred years from my family, husband's travels through Europe and US going to estate and yard sales in California before we left.

I think is a bit price on this market. There are flea market in the Veneto region (treviso) and the most items are around 5, 10 euro. The big vintage market is Piazzola sul Brenta (province of Padova, Veneto region)., The market takes place every last sunday of the month.

That sounds like quite a fun market! I hope I can get there sometime soon. Thank you for watching!

It was interesting to see the man weigh the silver and not price according to the artistic workmanship itself. Assume that the silver items were made in Italy. Are linens made in a specific part of Italy? The mileflori paperweights were expensive. Have you had an opportunity to visit work shops, such as where the picture frames are made? Is the porcelain specifically imported by certain Italian companies? Hope your visit with your daughter was enjoyable. Be safe. Will be watching for your next video.

I was also fascinated to see him weighing the silver- I’ve heard of silverware being weighed this way also! I also assume the silver was made in Italy, but I’ll have to ask next time. The only workshop I’ve had the chance to see is porcelain restoration, but wood would be fascinating. Not sure if linens were made in a certain part of Italy, but now I’m curious too, I’ll have to ask around. So glad you enjoyed the video!

There are porcelain companies here in Italy, such as Ginori here in Milan. I assume the Bavarian and French brands we see were purchased by families long ago and passed down until someone finally decided to part with them.

The red globe seltzer bottle at 5:14. really nifty, never seen a globe bottle like that. I like the leather bag at 11:29 but I don't know what I'd do with it. The bike seat at 21:37 wold make a nice display piece for a shop or home bike workshop. Too old for use I think. You passed by the table of old toy cars.

This market is once a month, last Sunday of the month (except August holiday, and in December it’s just before Christmas). It’s a great market!
@wagnertheitalianflipper9047
My mom is right the prices in the navigli are extremely high, compared to the mercatini 90 euros for 2 trinket boxes thats super high
@texastomilandiyitaly
@texastomilandiyitaly Год назад
It all depends on which seller, which item. Some things are high and some not. In general you will find better deals at mercatino usato, but not always. It’s really fun to search for the bargains and special items. Thank you for watching!

Certainly, not a bargain market! Can you hagel the price?
@texastomilandiyitaly
@texastomilandiyitaly 6 месяцев назад
It’s not a bargain usually, but you can find bargains here and there. Yes, you can haggle. Normally I don’t when I’m just finding out prices to show everyone, only when I’m serious about buying an item. Just before Christmas all the sellers were more quick to lower their prices so they wouldn’t have to carry items home with them, and so they could have more cash for their holiday. It’s worth finding out if the seller has driven in from far away, they are more likely to haggle to not take as much back home. Happy New Year!

Очень высокие цены по сравнению с французскими блошиными рынками.

Some items have high prices, and some things have low prices, just depends what it is. I would love to visit some French markets! Thank you for watching!
