Hey Friend, Happy Saturday. I love your snow flock Christmas tree, it’s so beautiful and I love the tradition you have for when you put it up. When I was growing up my parents would mix it up based on what kind of Christmas tree they put up. Sometimes they would get a fresh new Christmas tree that they wouldn’t cut down at a Christmas tree place. Other times they would put up their old store bought Christmas tree. ❤ I agree you don’t have to spend an expensive amount of money on your home for the holidays.Your home takes more value and beauty through memories and the amount of time you spent getting a decor item. ❤ Thank you for including a gingerbread tutorial. I love Christmas baking and seeing all of the delicious cookies we can make at my home. I know when I have kids I will be continuing that Christmas tradition either at my home or at my parents. ❤ I love that your sons wanted to help you bake the gingerbread cookies. I think it’s a great tradition to get into with your kids because they can learn how to bake and they can do something fun for Christmas with you. ❤🥰 these gingerbread cookies bring back old memories that my mom told me my grandma Rachel used to do. She would bake gingerbread cookies and give them out to her loved ones, friends, and strangers she saw. ❤

Aww Rachel! You’re named after your grandma?? That is so sweet!! Yes I agree that creating the traditions and bringing out the items that have so many memories, is the sweetest thing to do at Christmas! And I have loved baking with my boys. They truly love to help me and I’m excited to include that tradition for as long as possible over the years. Hope you are having an amazing weekend friend!

Hi Danielle 👋🏻, yep, real trees growing up and that’s what my children had too and all four still prefer real trees, however after I lost my husband, went with artificial and as I get older the trees get smaller, something I said I would never do, the sprit is willing but the body isn’t.Lol! Christmas is in the heart anyway. 😊Love your holiday videos, you do a great job every year. Hugs and blessings 🫂💜🦋

Thank you at I much Ann! You are always so kind. I’m so sorry to hear about your husband as I’m sure it makes this time of year sting a bit. Praying for peace and joy this Christmas season. And yes my parents basically but up a 12 inch little tree at this point on their kitchen counter and call it a day lol. Hugs!

Hi Danielle! I didn’t grow up with a fake tree either! I love a real one so much better but I stopped using real ones several years back. 😢 I love your new sign in the dining room. I love the way your hutch looks, so beautiful! I love the collected look! Everything is stunning! I hope you’re doing well! ❤❤❤❤

Hey Dawn!! Thank you so so much! I saw that sign and it just spoke so much to me, I really had to have it. And I think in going to put it up at Easter too. Growing up with a real tree was so much fun. I told my husband, maybe in a year or two when the boys are slightly older, we’ll go out to get a real tree for the porch or something. Just for the experience
