Funk/Soul Productions and Big Fish Audio Are proud to present Vintage Country, a unique collection of 20 sampled instruments designed to emulate the sound of vintage 1950s-1960s country western music. You’ll find the type of acoustic and electric instruments used to produce the songs sung by artists like Johnny Cash, Patsy Cline, Hank Williams, Merle Travis, Kitty Wells, Waylon Jennings, Ferlin Husky, and many more.
Vintage Country does not include the pristine instrument sounds that can be heard in most types of modern country music. Instead, we sampled older instruments from the 50s, 60s, and 70s. These instruments are anything but pristine. Instead, these are organic-sounding samples loaded with character and just a bit of dirt and grit. VC showcases the retro instrument sound that characterized country western music in the 50s and 60s and is still just as relevant today.
Vintage Country is an easy and intuitive one-page GUI with Arranger’s Tools and other features designed for users of all experience levels. VC is useful for beginners, students, teachers, and professional composers and arrangers.
