This little 4 x 6 journal is for a swap on the junk Journal Junkies Facebook page. Thanks for taking the time to watch! A Tattered Dream: www.etsy.com/c...
Everything about this journal is so dainty and delicate. Such beautiful work! I love 💕 your style...you are so talented! I would love to see a process video of you putting your journal together and how you go about it. It seems so effortless. Thanks for sharing!
Oh MY!!!! sooooooo gorgeous!!!! it is absolutely beautiful Beth!!! No-one would have guessed you were out of your element with the cover, just stunning!!! The decorating insided is so detailed and thought-out, as always. A true treasure, and I am certain, a very very happy swap partner!! Thank you for the inspiration! Nektaria
What a beautiful inspiration for making a is making a wedding type journal or or a wedding photo book I love the simplicity and just the different fabrics you used I think you were did a very beautiful job Thank you for sharing⚘
This was somehow simplistic, yet truly elegant with all that you placed in it! One of my very favorite small journals to date! I'm not sure how I missed being a subbie of yours, but I am now! I felt it wasn't over done, but absolutely usable & I will be placing it in a special save section of my RU-vid videos! Tfs! 🐰💐🌻
As always I love your journal! I think you have mastered an excellent balance between romance, roses and lace and stuff and still not having too much 'frou-frou', which leads to journals that aren't suitable for writing in my opinion, just not my cup of tea. So clever and as always you inspire me, thanks for sharing, LiLi
So very beautiful!! I can see making this out of maybe a deceased grandmother’s handkerchiefs, lace dollies, and things and giving it to granchildren as gifts!
Even though it's out of your comfort zone cuz you don't work with lace but it came out so beautiful I love that little journal I'm going to have to get my stuff together and make me one like that too cuz I have so much vintage lace and beautiful stickers with pretty roses on them that I could put on there and I mean it would come out just as pretty as yours that one's a beautiful little tiny journal thanks for sharing that with all of us it came out beautiful
Really pretty. I knew it was yours before looking at who made it. You did a beautiful job on the cover. You should do more layering of laces and doilies.
Oh Beth !!!! It is gorgeous. I love , love , love it 😍. For someone who doesn't like stepping out of their comfort zone you've done exceptionally well. 👏👏👏😊🌸💕
New subbie, only just found you with this video..and I'm so happy I did 😁💗👌 absolutely love your creative style, and this JJournal is just divine, has inspired me so much..xx Thank you and I look forward now to binge watch your videos to catch up..hehe!!!😘💗😁💗💗💗💗🌿🌺😘
I LOVE it!!! It is so beautiful in person! I didn't watch this video because I wanted to be surprised, but i got the journal today, so I watched it. It's nice to know that the piece of crocheted dresser scarf on the front belonged to your mother. I love all the little details. I will treasure this. And I even got a little bit of something from Angie because you included the cute little envelope she sent you. Thanks, Beth!
So lovely. I'm on the fence about joining that swap although I have created a piece. Yours is great and I especially love that you leave journaling space. ❤️. Debbie
This is just beautiful Beth !! You are one of my favorite journal makers... your style has such sweetness! The laces have a little charm of their own! TFS!
Your partner will be thrilled to bits with this gorgeous lace journal! I love how you've incorporated so many different pieces of lace in with the floral highlights and various pages/pockets/tags. Lace clearly suits you! Thank you for sharing xx
Everything you make is just so dainty and exquisite! ( had to google translate for that word! Lol- what a difficult word!) :-)) I love love this Beth! Wish were your partner :) TFS my friend and have a great weekend! Hugs- Wenche
Well, for it being out of your comfort zone, this is amazing! I've always loved journals with lots of laces and bits of fabric. I love, love, love that pocket in the front cover!! And I'm with you on leaving SOME space to write in, sheesh! :-D
Deborah Adams thanks Deborah :). Not sure how I can change the volume. I speak in my normal voice close to the microphone and when I upload it I always adjust to the highest volume level. Sorry you had a hard time hearing :(
Beth, how are you attaching your trims and embellishment to your pages? I didn't see any machine stitching. BTW, your journal is so very beautiful and very inspiring! I too believe in leaving a lot of open space for journaling.
Victoria Fortunato hi Victoria! Thanks very much for watching! I don’t have a tutorial for this journal but really it’s just lace sewn into cardstock and then an image glued to the cover. I’ve sewn in the signature using a pamphlet stitch. Hope that helps!
