Froggy recommended you's. I wasn't sure at the very start as I was thinking this guy is way more business than froggy. But it's clear from the vids people are happy to come to do business here and there's a real real passion in the shop and business. Delighted to have the new content to watch!
@Toy Federation just realized I'm in SC with you guys haha. I'll have to check it out next time around the Greer area. I'm near the Charleston greater area.
Dang.. sadly this is the last of the videos i have to watch of your series😢.. keep up the good plastic work you guys are doing! Looking forward to new videos in the near future. Fantastic stuff. I have really enjoyed it..
The little motorcycle is based from the Honda Motocompo. It's made by Honda for the city. Look it up! It's a REALLY cute little tiny foldable scooter. But that's the little scooter in the Whale.. So cool watching these Videos.
I remember seeing a good Whale hull in a local thrift shop several years ago, I never saw a new one back in the days. It was far from complete but the hull looked good, I regret not buying it at the time.
I almost bought one But I had no where to put it. Crazy to see all those whale hulls. The Warthog is kind of my budget alternative landing vehicle to the whale. Got to love that rustic green the early ARAH joe vehicles had. So much realistic detail, its a believable model machine.
Already subscribed and liked all of your videos. Left a comment on one of them and doing it again! Truly this channel is the freshest thing I've seen since Red Letter Media. Not exactly the same type of content but on the same level of quality. Can't wait to see how this channel changes. Been on RU-vid since the early days and this is the most excited my family has been in a long time. Keep it up! EDIT : What about using a 3D plastic pen to build up material on the existing plastic to fix the problem with the Whale? Would you rather rely on new old stock parts or is modifying vintage toys frowned upon and lose their value? Plastic pens accept all types of materials and colors so in essence you wouldn't be able to tell the difference
Me after not knowing anything about old toys but seen about 5 toy federation videos. * eats snacks in comfy chair * yeah that GI Joe whale has over 20 points of breakage
Tabs on one of the fans (similar to video is broken, as well as the directional vanes being pretty messed up one as well. Also believe one of the arms that secure one of the the rocket launchers to it is also busted. I have not dug it out of storage in a couple of years. Used to keep about 40 or so figures with tw o APC’c, some Hiss tanks, and an old beater Vamp and AWE striker out to play with my daughters when they were much younger, so they are only items not put away at moment. The girls loved those re issue Joes in the early oughts with no O rings, because the female characters were “not ugly” like my vintage Scarlet, Covergirl, and Lady Jaye. Bit tougher to fit em in the vehicles with out the O ring waists though.
Well, I was inspired to dig out the whale. Must be I had gotten at least one parts lot when I bought it. I have extra 5 depth charges still on the rails, as well a whole other set of missiles still on rails as well. The missile rack holder was not broken, but the rear fans have a ton of issues. Even with spare parts I have they are a mess. The drop down door for the sled I have two of, both have a broken tab on same side. The Troop ramp has a broken circle on whale where the tab fits in, I am missing the interior black portion of the ramp. Also missing a machine gun turret and a tip for one of the Bofors cannons. I am pretty sure I have those still. The fans and the veins are jacked up tho. I have more parts for each, but they are all jacked up enough to not go together.
Of course you can, if you want to just have a somewhat complete toy, but he's building this to resell and you need all original parts to keep the value.
