Sammi long time follower/lurker - I don’t comment often but just have to say you are the hardest working content creator in the DIY space I watch, through the birth of your girls, your loss of your brother and sweet baby😢 you battle through and always give us great content. With that being said I don’t know why YT has stopped your growth and why it seems so slow - your journey to 100k was so fast and since then Crickets - I know 143k subscribers is a great achievement but why did your growth stall - was it adding crime and crafting segments that confused the algorithm? This RU-vid gig aint the easiest and I've been questioning the same things you are. My channel seemed to shift when I stopped doing dollar tree and started with the higher end products. However, I feel so many people's channels have done the same and they're doing just fine. So I'm not really sure. I could watch you, Sammie, doing ANY kind of DIY and be happy! I don’t do IOD, paint inlays etc (mainly bc I craft then stop for months before I go back to it and I also don’t sell stuff) but I could watch you doing these alllll day every day. I cannot say I would watch any other RU-vidr doing these except you! Love everything you do and your personality just fits - perfection 👌🏼 ❤

I truly appreciate you sharing your crafting ut-oh’s with us. No matter if you’re an experienced crafter or just crafting for fun, we all have projects that don’t turn out how we hoped they would. Your plate and cups really were beautiful and that rose mould really saved your wooden box.
I love silver, any metal really. I mix it all over my home. Those silver cups are great for putting small bottle brush trees in for the holidays, or setting pumpkins on top. I buy those all the time!

Girl, I’m loving the blue! The plate is gorgeous and the mugs turned out fabulous! I love how you try new things just to see if they work. Nice to know how an inlay would work over salt wash. The box is my favorite!
W would you consider doing a tutorial on when to use wax when to use sealer when do use topcoat especially with transfers and stamps? I feel like I’m getting stuff wrong isn’t out.
I honestly don't think there is a wrong way Bonnie. I really think it depends on preference. They have different finishes. I like using liquid patina when I want a more durable finish that is matte. Big top when I want a more durable finish with sheen. Wax is a lot more easier to use on items and they come in different colors. I prefer these when I want to bring out details. I hope that helps a little.
Love watching the thrift store shopping, but it's sooo frustrating for me! I'm yelling at the screen for you to pick up things I see, that I want!!! Could it be possible to do a live shop, where people could ask for things they would love to have, and you could buy the items for them? I'm sure some of your loyal subscribers would jump at the chance.
