Howdy Monkeyboy! God, this episode hit me like a ton of bricks because I had every single one of those buggers over forty years ago! My favorite amongst them is definitely Logray for the exact same reasons you like him. I don't remember if I seen you with him, but if not, you might want to try picking up an Anakin Skywalker from '84 or '85, the one that was originally a mail away figure; I say this because it is Sebastian Shaw and not Hayden Christiansen (and of curse this Anakin was not made as a Force ghost but rather a solid, "living" figure as it were). Another one to maybe get is the Han Solo (without his Hoth jacket) that also comes with him in carbonite. I never had him but always wanted one, although I had Slave 1 that came with a Han in carbonite. The trick here is that the frozen Hans (or "Solo-pops") are not in the same poses; the Slave 1 version is just like he was in Empire/Jedi, but the Power of the Force version actually has him still in those handcuffs/binders. In the nineties Kenner did another mold version of the POTF version, but still, nothing like the originals, eh? Anyway these are the only two that come to mind, mostly because my memory is running on fumes at the moment.

Although it's not a real vintage Kenner SW figure, I highly recommended getting Stan Solo's custom Kenner Style Return Of The Jedi Slave Girl Princess Leia figure. She makes a Jabba's Palace classic Kenner display a bit more complete.

It was very kind of Matt to gift me the figures and I like the fact that they have been played with and received lots of love but are in good condition. The floppy arms on the rebel trooper are fun when I wave him about. He seems very excited 😊
A bird shat on me yesterday. If I don't experience good fortune I'm going to write a letter of complaint to that bird. Flying about pooing on people willy nilly is bloody outrageous.
A really nice selection of figures you got there, nice one 👍🏻. It took me about three decades to discover that Prune Face was one of the good guys as I had just assumed he was part of Jabba’s crew.

Great selection of figures MB and very generous of Matt. So you won't be army building the one figure that is the perfect army builder, but Squidhead and leia Boosh on the other hand....... 😂 I alway thought Prune face was a bad guy, in fact he was always the antagonist to my trench coat Han at play time. Vintage big head Han, yes you are right he normally has red stripes on his legs, maybe you have a variant? I only say that as normally these figures suffer from paint rub on the white shirt and your one looks perfect. I'm also not bothered about getting all the figures, just the ones I had as a kid.
Haha yeah it's bonkers isn't it? I have 103 Bib Fortunas, loads of Squid Heads, lots of Lando Skiff Guard and Leia Boushh, ...and two stormtroopers. I have a few snow troopers and biker scouts though. When I was young I also thought that Prune face was a bad guy, I mean he looks like an evil henchman. I think the red stripes on my Han have worn off because I can see tiny flecks of red in the outside knee creases. It is weird that his shirt isn't rubbed at all. I don't know if it bothers me enough to find another example but I remain open to the possibility. Thanks for watching dude 🙏🐵
Good day buddy. Nice look at vintage SW figures. If I remember rightly, the name Klaatu came from 'The Day the Earth Stood Still' along with the names of the other skiff guards, Barada and Niktu. Pruneface always looked a bit of a baddie. According to Robot Chicken, he was only there to fix the photocopier 😂 Haven't held a Scout Trooper since I was a kid, but I remember they felt good in the hand, a bit bulkier than the average figure. My Stormtrooper was ruined when he got grass stains.... Great vid, thanks buddy.
Nice! Coming in hot with some quality trivia there! I did not know the origins of the skiff guard names so that's a fun fact to know! Yes, the biker scout is a cool figure, he was always one of my favourites despite the goofy way he sits on the speeder bike with his legs pointing forwards. I quite like Logray. He was the second Star Wars figure I had (after Chewbacca) and I have quite fond memories of him. The third figure I got was Chief Chirpa, so there was a a bit of a teddy theme going on in the toy box that I didn't realise at the time. The Black Series ewok figures give me very nostalgic feelings. Nice collection, mate. Have a good week 👍
Thanks for the comment, Stephen! I was never a huge Ewok fan but I couldn't have a vintage collection without at least a couple. I would like to get Wicket at some point. I have a black series ewok on a speeder bike from the Endor box set which is quite amusing. Despite not being a fan of the murder bears, my cat is named Ewok despite being a feline and not a member of the bear family. Cheers for watching sir! 🙏🙏🐵
Yeah, the ewoks do seem to divide opinion. Have you seen After Endor? It's a fan made film set after ROTJ, which shows the ewoks to be quite creepy. The Elevator is another one that's quite funny. Fan made Star Wars is better than official Star Wars these days 😂
